House holiday rentals in Montese

Michael greeted us on arrival and was extremely welcoming and took time to show us around his beautiful home. This was a family holiday with 6 adults and the ample space both inside and out worked perfectly for us all, we felt at home and relaxed. The whole house is extremely luxuriously and well equipped, we used the BBQ and the pizza oven both of which worked perfectly. Michael was always available to help with any questions we had and the location is perfect for day trips to Firenze, Siena etc. We enjoyed a wonderful week and would thoroughly recommend Michael’s home.

From a long retired couple... Very enjoyable week's stay during September in Ruth's spacious, clean, comfortable and comprehensively equipped, family oriented villa. Ideal base for local hiking (which we didn't) and surprisingly well located, given its fairly remote position, for sampling good quality nearby restaurants (which we did). Good scope for cultural and shopping trips: eg. Bologna, Faenza, Dozza (delightful) and outlet centres incl. Barberino (convenient and extensive). We found Ruth to be a very welcoming, helpful and accessible host with a ready wealth of local knowledge - a much underrated asset that certainly enhanced our visit. 6Stanco - go for it!

Everyone was wonderful, the accommodation was as described and the pool completely to ourselves. Giovanni was always super friendly and his family very accommodating. We would definitely recommend this location.

We spent a few (sadly, rainy) days October days in Casa Emma. The location, on the edge of a small mountain top village, is fantastic. From the garden you have an amazing view over the green Garfagnana valleys. The house is very comfortable, with many well-thought out details, like a little boutique hotel. The downstairs living room is not big but very cozy, with a wood stove. The kitchen has everything you need. Upstairs bedrooms are large, with comfy beds. Wifi speedtest: 27.7/2.5. The garden is very nice with many places to sit in the sun and shade, views all around. The pool looks great but the weather was unfortunately too cold to enjoy it. The house is next to a church but it is very quiet (no church bells), you only hear birds. Alessandro is a great host, always available via the app. On arrival, there was a nice welcoming package with some groceries and snacks. We'll have to come back one day to explore this beautiful region further, with better weather. Highly recommended!

Monica was very nice and communication was easy. We had a good time. She even left the pool open for us. Unfortunately it was too cold and rainy that week but we still enjoyed the stay.

We had a wonderful time at this dream house! Magnificent views, beautiful decor and good amenities, plenty of space inside and outside, magnificent garden, great pool, friendly (few) neighbors. All round beautiful! Recreation and tranquility for the adults and play facilities by the pool for the children. The village is enchanting. The way to shopping and to Lucca is absolutely doable when you get used to the serpentines. And the path is definitely beautiful! The remoteness makes up the peculiarity & beauty of the place. Lucca is a beautiful city! Vittoria is a very kind host. Everything was easy and the contact was very pleasant at all times. We are thrilled and would like to come back!

Lovely cottage giving good views over the beautiful surrounding countryside, with small villages and towns nearby, and Barbara is a great host. Thoroughly recommend I Sorbi for a restful stay in Tuscany

Secluded location away from the quiet village. A lovely view, great pool 5 minutes walk from the cottage. Good train links from Londa Contea station to Florence every hour. You need a car to access the cottage from the village.

Our hosts were helpful and friendly. The house is adorable, cozy, clean and well furnished. Nothing is missing. The place is very quiet, as we hoped. The kitchen is well equipped, and we were able to enjoy dinner at home after a day around. We had a great time.

Romantic Alcova a stone's throw from the city center but with the qualities of the country house, quiet and retired. Beautiful property where we spent a week relaxing and that we used as a base to visit Pistoia and the Apennines. Mrs. Gianna, an impeccable guest. I recommend it

Comfortable and nicely appointed three bed / two bath apartment within walking distance to Luca old town. Very pleasant stay. Would highly recommend as an AirBNB. Host provided check-in and other information well in advance, and lots of helpful tourist advice / information about Luca and the area. Found Luca a great base to explore Tuscany.

Our stay (3 nights), was up to expectations. Gioviano is a small but lively village, still inhabited by the locals. The apartment is located inside the historic center, so the car should be left about 200-300 meters away in the parking area. Self check-in and flexible. The house was very clean and cozy. Mark is really very available for questions and tips about the local attractions as well. We visited Lucca and Pistoia, the villages of Garfagnana, the area of Lake Vagli and we did a trek along "the devil's tour" that starts from San Pellegrino in Alpe. Finally, we were (positively) impressed by the price, really very competitive!

We stayed here 3 families (6 adults and 4 children between 2 and 5 years old). we already stayed here last year and like last year, everything was great. In addition, the second bathroom was renovated this year, so both were new and modern. the host was very accommodating when booking the stay. in addition, he provided us with a third crib, on the day of arrival he allowed us an early check-in and on the day of departure allowed us a later departure, which was very appreciated by small children. every day was cleaned the pool, which we ended up using only at the beginning of the stay due to the weather. with small children we appreciated the large fenced garden.

We leave with lots of beautiful memories. Lara is infinitely warm and kind. The place is absolutely great, in a beautiful area, with a great view, in nature… well, just cool. Thank you:)

Immaculately clean, centrally located, beautiful modern accommodations, so much better than expected! Checkin was easy and so accommodating (thank you again), parking on site and helpful information we needed to park second car! Highly recommend! We want to come back and will recommend to fellow travelers!

A beautiful home with the most magnificent view and surroundings! Getting there: We drove SUV cars, which is reccomended as the road to the house is quite steep. Drive to the house via the small town Eglio. The house: The house is beautiful! Every room has a stunning chestnut ceiling and the interior is kept simple but elegant. It is easy to cook own meals in the lovely kitchen. Everything is clean and tidy! The owner: Due to traffical issues from Bologna, we arrived a couple of hours late, but owner of the house Richard was very kind and did not make an issue of this. Richard was also kind to reccomend a local chestnut festival which we attended. Lovely to experience local culture and food. Where to go: We used the house as a base to travel to Lucca, Pisa, Florence and Pietrasanta (town for people interested in art). It is reccomended to take the train from Lucca to Florence (1½ house) and Pisa (½ hour). Easy and accessable. And the trip via the mountains to the ocean is lovely.

TOP host and cottage, great communication, accurate and fast. It is located on a closed street, no traffic, a special place to rest in front of the fireplace and with a beautiful view. Thanks Roberto, I'll see you soon.

Very nice welcome from Annalisa. The house is large, very well equipped and in a quiet area close to Lucca by car. Great tips from our guests, especially for eating a good pizza!

Excellent location for peace and quiet and relaxation. we were well accommodated and friendly host only added to the great experience.

Very nice, well-maintained villa with beautiful garden. A car is urgently needed, as you have to drive up the mountain from Montecatini Terme for about 15 minutes to get to the accommodation. But this is rewarded with a breathtaking view. Cristina is very friendly, helpful and easy to reach. We would recommend the villa at any time.
