From a long retired couple... Very enjoyable week's stay during September in Ruth's spacious, clean, comfortable and comprehensively equipped, family oriented villa. Ideal base for local hiking (which we didn't) and surprisingly well located, given its fairly remote position, for sampling good quality nearby restaurants (which we did). Good scope for cultural and shopping trips: eg. Bologna, Faenza, Dozza (delightful) and outlet centres incl. Barberino (convenient and extensive). We found Ruth to be a very welcoming, helpful and accessible host with a ready wealth of local knowledge - a much underrated asset that certainly enhanced our visit. 6Stanco - go for it!

Truly manicured mountain house, warm and with everything you need. Quiet area and with the possibility of reaching the center in a few minutes by foot. We'll definitely be back.

A lovely spacious house, elegantly and stylishly furnished (AB&B photos don't really do it justice). Beautiful tranquil location - apart from the Apennine wolves we heard howling one night (a definite bonus in our book). Lovely walks from the house along the river Dolo gorge, and especially recommend the Golfarone waterfall about 25 mins drive away. A 15-minute scramble upriver brings you to a beautiful pool for swimming under the waterfall. Also lovely local neighbours, who offered us homemade wine and jam. Good local restaurants. Alessandro was extremely helpful and friendly.

Lara is a kind and helpful host. We felt very comfortable with her. The apartment is on the lower floor, but nice and cool. The surroundings and the space around the house are amazing. Especially the large pool with the loungers under the trees. The sunsets over dinner right by the pool will remain unforgettable. Fireflies can also be seen. The place is rather expensive, but in a great location. Also ideally suited for excursions. We will be happy to come back!

We had an amazing week at Tommasos place! From the moment we arrived, the host and his very friendly mother made us feel incredibly welcome and was so helpful throughout our stay. The place itself was spotless and well-maintained, with a serene atmosphere that made it the perfect getaway. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, offering peace and tranquility, truly great for the soul. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a peaceful retreat with a wonderful host!

The perfect place for a holiday with family or friends with glorious views over a lush valley in the hills above Modena. Our historic casa was renovated to the highest standard with generous bedrooms, three fabulous bathrooms , a well functioning kitchen, dining and sitting area. We enjoyed the pristine pool, BBQing and dining outside under, and using the wood fired pizza oven. The plumbing, power and internet did not miss a beat! Our hosts were generous and welcoming, sharing some of their home made and local produce, and encouraged us to forage herbs and fruit [just ripening figs, wild arugula] from the beautiful garden. Their recommendations about the local area were spot on. We recommend using it as a base for visiting the motor museums and factories, for enjoying the wonderful food traditions of the area and to relax in a most beautiful environment. The visit to La Noce to learn from Georgio about and taste Balsamico di Modena is not to be missed! A wonderful stay!!!

Roberta is an excellent host who takes the time beforehand and during the stay to ensure her guests have everything they need and recommendations of local activities in books at the house and throughout our stay. The house is charming and very well appointed, little touches like tea and coffee, balsamic and olive oil are very welcome as well as a lovely present and bottle of wine on arrival. We would not hesitate to stay again if in the area, it’s very handy for Modena, Parma and Reggio Emilia and the pool is fab for the kids and adults alike. Everyone we met in Baiso was friendly and welcoming and our kids enjoyed meeting and hanging out with the local kids who took great care of them also.

The place is very beautiful, clean and very large (accommodates large groups). You must have a car as it's a bit out of town. However, there is plenty of parking. There is a restaurant below which worried me, but it's a fine dining restaurant, there was very little noise. Try the restaurant below, great food.

Your tip on where to eat was perfect, and undoubtedly dinner at a local restaurant and frequented only by Italians away from sights was one of the highlights of our trip. Your house is well located, cozy, with rooms with comfortable beds and impeccably clean sheets. A pity that we were only one night, but it was enough for us to enjoy the beautiful region of Modena and Maranello. Thank you so much for all the affection and hospitality. Nice, clean apartment. Close to Expo, the apparent is not the biggest one, but very clean, comfortable. Everything what you need is present. Host is really helpful

We stayed at the house with our three kids (8 year old boy and 6 year old twins). The house is clean and the bedrooms are very spacious. We enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen and adored the terrace and its magnificent view and the kids enjoyed the toys. You can enjoy the privacy of the terrace and garden, although it is good to know that it is not directly attached to the house. You need to pass the parking space (where our kids loved to play in the shadows) and neighboring houses to reach it. This didn't bother us, but it is a good thing to know. The surrounding area is beautiful and we loved that it cooled off during the night. It's perfect for those loving the nature and quiet and don't mind driving to reach other points of interest. Finally: very accommodating hosts who were very proactive and had a big list of things to see and do in the area. Thank you, Paolo!

I had a fantastic stay at Nicola’s place! The location is perfect—within walking distance to key attractions like the Enzo Ferrari Museum, the central market, and excellent shops and restaurants. The apartment itself was peaceful, spotless, and equipped with a full kitchen, which was great for preparing meals. The check-in process was seamless with Wi-Fi access, and Nicola was an incredibly responsive host, providing thoughtful recommendations that made my trip even better. Highly recommend staying here!

We stayed 5 days per business trip. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy the house as it deserved because we only stayed. Highlights are the breadth of the rooms, the presence of everything you need to make your stay pleasant, peace and tranquility, the proximity of the highway exit, Michela's clarity and availability. We'll definitely be back next year.

The views and serenity found at this place are unmatched. The owners are extrememly kind and responsive. The town is very calm. There is a nice grocery store by bus in the neighboring city Vergato. If you need a bus, look up the daily schedule via Google Maps. Any questions and the owners will help you.

Very good place. Very good bed. I slept better in this place than I did. Very quiet. Lots to visit around Bologna. Edward's mother is very kind and kind. I would this property.

Very helpful and flexible host for check-out. Clean and comfortable place, with all the services described in the listing. Apartment complete with everything from pots to towels and everything you need to experience how to be at home. Close to the bus stop and in a really ideal location for nature lovers. The rolling hills outside Bologna was an outstanding place to stay a little off the beaten track. Very close to the historic center of Bologna, but very quiet and beautiful. The photos do not do it justice (it is better in person). Silvia was super helpful in making sure everything went well. Definitely stay here!

La casa di Fiore is an ideal accommodation to reach Porretta Terme. We stayed 3 nights in this place surrounded by greenery very cool even in the summer. The courtyard with an umbrella table and chairs was much appreciated. Quiet and really nice place. The house is equipped with everything you need. We highly recommend it.

Very awesome! Great historic story behind the tower. The stairs outside to get up to the tower were slick when wet. And there are a lot of them. Otherwise wonderful stay!!

We had a great stay! Check-in and out with a lockbox was really convenient. Super walkable to everything in center city. And the home is just very cute and well decorated :) the only thing to mention is I would be wary of counting on the WiFi. It’s just a mobile hotspot and it was pretty spotty. Nicolò was responsive and brought us another one to try but it wasn’t much better. I had to tether to my phone to do Zoom calls for work.
