Holiday houses in Monterey Bay

Had a fabulous stay here and will absolutely be returning. The cottage is tucked away off the road which makes it feel really peaceful and private. It has a great outside patio that gets the sun. The cottage itself was comfy, cozy and has everything you need. It is a super quick walk down to the water. We cannot wait to come again!

Every detail of this home was incredibly well thought out. There’s truly nothing you’ll need, it’s fully stocked with everything from games for the kids to all the cooking utensils you could want, and the beds are extremely comfortable. The patio and entry garden are absolutely stunning. The decor is perfect; every little detail was considered, and it really shows. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish- what a treat. I’m going to go home and redecorate with a Hawaii theme 😏

Clean and spacious place. Quirky but perfect for us. But if a drive to anyplace except the slough and beach.

Wow! What a wonderful home. It was very easy to find. It was walking distance from the beach. It has the most gorgeous copper bath tub outside on a private patio. There’s also an outdoor table and chairs, at which I ate pretty much every meal. This place is also extremely affordable for what you get! I would absolutely stay here again. This was my family's 4th stay at Holly's beautiful home in Aptos and it continues to be one of our favorite Airbnbs. From the basket of local treats to the incredible views and tasteful decor -- it feels so special arriving at Holly's home and she makes you feel very welcome. We have 2 young kids (ages 4 & 2) and having the beach just across the road makes life so easy, plus the house is stocked with great beach toys, towels, chairs, umbrellas, etc. We spent our mornings on the beach searching for sea glass and shells, afternoons kayaking (alongside dolphins, no less!) and getting ice cream at Marianne's, and evenings enjoying the sunset from the terrace. We had a very special time and are already looking forward to our next visit.

We had an amazing stay at this house. It was even better than the pictures, which is always a pleasant surprise. The home was impeccably clean, and it felt very well cared for. The linens and bedding were of high quality and super comfortable, making it easy to relax and unwind. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful and cozy getaway.

I had a good communication with Casey before and during our stay. There were a few things that my group wanted to know and she responded with minimal wait time. The driveway up to the house was steep and curvy which the host explained very well. But not a problem driving up since we arrived with the sun is still up. I don't remember seeing any lights on the driveway which might be a problem driving up at night. Beautiful scenery around the wrap around deck. The house was very spacious for our group of 5 couples. A tray with snacks, coffee and wine awaited us in the kitchen, as well as bottled water in the fridge. I would definitely stay here again and also recommend this house to friends or family if they are in the area. On a side note: it would've been nice if they had some type of games (billiards, ping pong, foosball or arcade games inside the 2 car garage.

Nice quiet. Very responsive. Went out of their way to make sure there were goodies and it was a comfortable stay. A little smaller than we thought so the price was a little high, and it mentioned washer and dryer, which was not available. Thought it was very pleasant.
