We spent a month at Gabriella’s. The house is amazing- perfect for the 2-3 of us over the course of the trip. Two of us worked remotely (Zoom calls and all)- without issue. Gabriella and Federico made us feel at home- always responsive and super helpful- above and beyond. (Everything from helping us get pizza reservations, looking into hotels at the airport, and morale support during a Mediterranean-hurricane). It is the cleanest house I’ve ever been in - not just an Airbnb (the cleaner is also sweet, amazing!) The view is even better in person, and you have everything you could need. Book this house (or I will!)!! The best Airbnb you can find!

I have stayed at AirBnBs in more than a dozen towns in over half a dozen countries. My Calabrese and Sicilian hosts on this recent trip to Southern Italy have outshone the others. I was only in Sicily for a night, but spent weeks in Staletti, Calabria. Raffaele not only made me feel like a special guest, he treated me as a friend. By the time I left, he had introduced me to his father, his good friend living in London, an uncle with whom I played tennis, and the card playing regulars and owner of Bar Jolli, Peppe, and his brother, Salvatore. They were born in Calgary and spoke a little English so we had that Canadian connection. I came here by myself to work from home, escaping some of the Nova Scotia winter. It was kind of Raffa to make he feel like part of the community over the holiday season. I met Babbo Natale (Santa) in neighboring Sqillace, flew to Rome to see the Pope on Xmas Eve and Day, and Raffa invited me to see the Befana on the 5th before leaving town.#1 holiday ever!

Very beautiful tiny house, nicely decorated and furnished. It was very clean and comfortable. Agostino was very kind and responsive. There was a little booklet with recommendations. We fully enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this place again.

Country house off village, two floors (two flats), with attached historic mill. All photos correspond to reality. Very clean accommodation. Peaceful sleep. Well-equipped kitchen with six-burner gas stove. Wi-Fi working 24/7. Reception if several cell phone networks. The reliable and multilingual host with a wonderful human contact - you want to adopt him as a friend, as your brother or even your son.
