This was our second time in Atenor, and we couldn't be more satisfied! Hosts are impeccable, attentive to every detail and always ready to ensure a comfortable and cosy stay. The house is in an excellent location, with all amenities, airy, immaculately clean and very spacious. The attention to detail, from the harmonious decoration to the small touches of hospitality, makes each stay special. The proximity to IC5 greatly facilitates travel, and this time we took the opportunity to further explore the region, including an environmental cruise in the Douro, with breathtaking landscapes. This is a great cottage in the midst of an almost mystical and cinematic hamlet, a few minutes away from a bigger village, Vitigudino. It’s comfy, clean, and a nice little haven away from civilization - but not too far away. It’s the artistry, craftsmanship, and meticulous details of the work that Olmo, his father Carlos, and his family have put into Casa Caenia that makes it so charming and homey. The tour of this ‘almost’ ancient place, the bucolic walks, and recommendations in nearby towns made this trip to Traguntia a restful and meaningful one. I look forward to making a movie here one day.

Communication with Jesus from the reservation was wonderful but the best was yet to be seen. The accommodation is totally recommended for its location, cleanliness and also super nice with a patio that does not lack a detail.
