If you ever thought of how it must be living in an old style Japanese house: this is a great chance for you to do it. With the western style beds you have a back-up, if sleeping on a futon is not easy for you. This house had so much charm and it was great living close to the samurai disctrict and the beach. We would book it again.

I stopped by before going to Shimonoseki. It's good to have a ryokan experience at a good price. There is no kaiseki, but there is a convenience store right in front, and it is okay to go to restaurants by car. There is no private bath, and it feels like a public bath. There were quite a few people with tattoos, but it was a familiar view from the marks, so it didn't bother me much. The open-air bath is large enough for 2 people and 3 people, but the open-air bath I enjoyed while raining was the most satisfactory. Yukata is also paid, so if you stop by Ube, we recommend it.

The host was extremely helpful! We shared homemade rice and rice cakes, and we had a very good time during the holidays!! You can also go to Hofu and Yamaguchi City in about 15 minutes by car. Great access as well♡ I stayed for 4 nights. Tsunoshima Bridge, Shimonoseki, Moji Port, Kinta Bridge, etc. I enjoyed Yamaguchi Prefecture♫ It has everything you need. They leave it where I want it. I was worried that there was no bathtub, but there was also an oil stove. We had a pleasant time! I will come and visit again!
