Waterfront holiday rentals in Mid Suffolk District

We had a lovely time it’s such a stunning view and so great to be so near to the beach and the centre of the village too. They even provided a dog bed which our dog really loved.

Was very helpful with helping finding the local attractions and was open to help if we needed anything extra.

The apartment was clean and as described. good for a couple nights stay whilst at university. Zonja was a huge help and accommodating with check in as we arrived late, this was much appreciated. Perfect location for the quayside and the university would use again.

Modern chalet with everything we needed. So many little touches that we weren't expecting, a very nice welcome pack, lots of tea and coffee, salt and pepper loo rolls, etc. It was cold and wet for most of the time we were there but the chalet was warm and cosy. Big enclosed decking area for our dogs. Will be looking to book again.

The apartment is very well appointed with a great view over Ipswich Marina with the bonus of some fabulous sunsets too. The apartment is spacious for a two-bedroom accommodation and the two bathrooms are a definite advantage. The host, Martin, was very supportive and attentive to our needs throughout the stay with prompt and friendly communication. I would certainly recommend this apartment and would look to book again for future stays in Ipswich.

A lovely little place to stay and the private hot tub is fantastic with stunning views. A good location with shops and takeaways nearby and easy access to Ipswich.

Wonderful weekend base for sons couple of football games that happened to be in the same area. Incredibly responsive host, and probably the most immaculately clean airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. Board games and card games were played and the dvds in the kids bedroom were watched. A wonderful couple of family nights spent away. Highly, highly recommended.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Christine’s property as for us it is conveniently located to visit family. The house is always clean and warm, well equipped and maintained with everything needed for a stay. The extra touches such as Christmas decorations , and welcome items are really lovely and appreciated. The beds are comfortable and the house is quiet and warm.

Stayed here for two nights whilst working in the area, beautiful home in a peaceful neighbourhood, sea view from the front bedroom window and lovely local pub called Oddfellows around the corner where the regulars couldn’t have been more friendly plus added bonus of a lovely Labrador who just loves the attention, will definitely be looking at re booking very soon

What a beautiful place! A group of the girls got together for my 40th, and we had such a lovely time. A couple of things came up, but things that Lee was so quick to respond to, where possible. We didn’t use the games, or TVs, but they have a great selection of games & a TV in each room. We loved the jukebox & the open layout of the downstairs kitchen/diner/lounge. The place feels very tucked away, whilst also being very central, which is great. The welcome wine & snacks were a lovely touch. Thank you!

We usually struggle with key boxes, but not this one! A lovely little place for our short break.

Had an amazing short stay in Peters lovely clean modern house which had all the home comforts needed. Location was peaceful and very close to the beach and numerous lovely restaurants. Would love to stay here again in the summer months to fully appreciate the lovely beach. Highly recommended stay here Thankyou Peter :)

We really loved our stay, over Christmas. The place is even better than it looked in them photos and we had a very comfortable stay. We really appreciated the Christmas tree too! That was a very thoughtful touch.

An absolute privilege to stay here with family over New Year. Great communal living space for 8 grown-ups & 6 kids, and a beautiful spot for walks literally from the door. Closest pub is a 10 minute drive or 40 minute walk away. (‘Local’ in nature, but really friendly staff and regulars.) My only negative was the lack of clothes storage - literally no wardrobe or chest of drawers other than an Ikea unit with 4 square baskets, which means you inevitably end up with piles of clothes everywhere. Doesn’t hurt in the grand scheme though.. definitely an amazing place. Finally, a note to thank David; an extremely attentive and generous host.

We well and truly banished the January blues with our stay at Sam’s lovely place. It had everything we needed, was beautifully designed and finished and the hot tub was amazing!!! With 2 dogs the location was perfect being right on the beach! We will be back!

Cosy and toasty warm flat in walking distance of good pubs and restaurants. Well equipped with excellent instructions with everything you needed to know. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Had a great stay at Agi's place! The apartment is located right on the water with a bunch of shops and restaurants right at hand. Agi was also very responsive and welcoming, offering a book of suggestions on local attractions and willingness to communicate any time.

It’s okay to pull right up and unload all of your stuff right in front of the iron gate. It’s a pretty melow and sleepy seaside yown concerning such matters. Host said up to ten minutes parking there should be okay. Note that the road that the apartment entrance is located on is a single-lane “alleyway” and easy to pass right by. Comingbfrom Sainsburys and heading down Nicholas Road, it is the small street just before the light at Regent Street. You can ise the Just Park app to park at Sainsburys cheaply, but recommend parking at the southern edge of the parking lot in some of the wider family spaces. I got a major ding on the side of my car from parking in the busier section of the parking lot for several days.

We always come to stay with friends near southwold every new year, this time in the town itself. Lovely flat, extremely comfortable, well equipped and wonderful views. Liz was friendly and very helpful host. Nice to find the essentials and treats in the fridge on our arrival.
