Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Mermaid Waters

Sutton Lodge is a beautiful, quaint and tranquil property in walking distance to the Curtis Falls walking trail. About a kilometre and a half on from the start of the Curtis Falls is the Gallery Walk where there are eateries, beautiful craft shops and other retail stores of clothes, chocolate, gelato and unique gifts. It's a beautiful area. The hosts were very attentive and checked in to see if everything was fine and encouraged us to reach out if needed. They were happy to provide recommendations for restaurants etc. The house was very well maintained, the kitchen was well provisioned with various condiments and cooking items; the bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful and welcoming. The back deck was gorgeous and well used and there were different aspects on the property to cater for different times of the year. Instructions were simple to follow. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will mark it as preferred accommodation when next visiting Mt Tambourine. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Matt’s. Matt was responsive and helpful before and after our stay. The house was spacious and looked just like the photos. The kitchen was well provisioned and we enjoyed cooking each night. The kids loved the use of the SUP’s and kayaks on the canal. Would stay again.

The house was great and really comfortable. So central to everything we wanted to see or do. Ian was lovely to deal with. So many restaurants and cafe close by.

To say we fell in love with Sherelle’s property would be an understatement, best Air bnb we have stayed in. Everyday we were mesmerized by the gardens & creek, we bonded with this property from day one, 5 nights was not long enough! I can’t really say much about the local area, because we didn’t leave the property 😂 I left once to the supermarket at Burleigh & it was 20 minutes away, other than that 🤷🏼‍♀️

The home and location was just perfect for us. The check-in process was smooth, and Tait and Caroline provided clear instructions and was quick to respond to any questions. The location was perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s far enough from the noise to truly relax, yet close to the charming shops and cafes in Mudgeeraba, which were a delight to explore. The peaceful surroundings made it so easy to unwind. The bed was super comfortable, and the outdoor area was a lovely spot to enjoy a morning coffee or relax in the evenings. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene getaway. We had an amazing time at the Gold Coast Hinterland Retreat and I highly recommend it as a holiday home. The house layout is perfect for our extended family. The pool and basketball / netball ring areas are fantastic for all ages. I loved heading down to the grassed area and sitting amongst the gum trees. Michelle is a wonderful host - very responsive. I am definitely keen to come back for another stay soon - thanks Michelle!

We stayed at Andrew's place for 6 nights. Andrew responded to questions very quickly and made our stay comfortable. The house was clean and had all the utensils that we needed to cook with when required. The lawns and pool are beautiful and the proximity to shops is excellent. We would consider staying there again for future holidays to the Gold Coast.

Our stay was wonderful. You have thought of everything that a guest could possibly want from our trips to the beach with umbrella, beach mat and sunscreen provided to the heated pool and resort style living with the pool, fire pit and large outdoor entertaining area. The living spaces were magnificent and provided spacious areas for our children and their partners to enjoy time together or spend time with the family - talking, afternoon drinks, board games or watching movies in the cinema room. Thank you for the wonderful treats on arrival and looking after us. You are an absolute legendary host. Our stay made our new year so special with memories that will last a lifetime for our family. Adrienne was extremely lovely and welcoming. Arrived and gave us a tour of the gorgeous paradise. I had an incredible stay at this beautiful property. The location is peaceful and offers stunning views of the surrounding nature, making it a perfect escape from the city. The house itself was spotless, spacious, and tastefully decorated. Was stocked with some treats and snacks which was very thoughtful. As well as, little notes around the place which helped put us at ease for making sure it was a smooth stay and we had all the information we needed. Definitely thought of everything. The hosts were fantastic very welcoming, responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We especially loved the outdoor area, which was perfect for relaxing and soaking up the tranquil atmosphere. Highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking for a serene getaway. We had an amazing stay at this apartment in Surfers Paradise! The location was unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach and close to everything we needed. The apartment was in excellent condition, clean, and very comfortable. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy our vacation. Highly recommended!”

Absolutely loved our stay. Cody was attentive and helpful. Very easy to communicate and very professional. Check in and check out instructions were clear. Apartment was spotless. Kitchen had modern appliances. The aircon worked well. The light beachy furniture made the apartment very spacious and the bathroom design was great. Loved the lighting, as it is very hard to find an Airbnb with good lighting to apply makeup without looking like a clown 🙄😂 The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room to hang clothes. Having a Washer and Dryer was a bonus!!! The apartment offered excellent facilities. Pacific fair and public transport literally just outside the door and the main restaurants only 5 to 10 mins walk. We spent the afternoons by the pool and there is a gym if you feel like working out on your holiday. We will definately recommend this apartment to any traveller and we will definately be back.

Perfect stay for our little family. Close to heaps of amenities like shops, restaurants and attractions. Supermarket is in the same complex, which is amazing for last minute food decisions for a young family.

Loved our stay on the water! Great communication, the spa was excellent and we loved our little visits from the owners dog Nyla! It was a great spot to fish and boat with a great club just around the corner! Loved it!!

The Twilight Cottage and absolutely dream to stay at! My husband, dog and myself thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous space and being close to town was perfect 😊 Definitely one of the best stays we have ever been on!

Capaja Creamery was amazing. The little touches make a difference. It was my Girlfriends bday and they gave us a bottle of bubbles. The place was so relaxing. Very cute. The outdoor bath amazing and loved the beanbags on the verandah. Loved feeding the horses and cows too. Felt so private so close to the coast. Highly recommend for a romantic weekend away. It rained so didn't get to enjoy the fire pit but it would have been amazing. Thanks to the hosts. Loved it xo
