We enjoyed the location directly on Lake Michigan very much. Beautiful sunsets especially!

This was perfect for our group of snowmobilers The back porch is a perfect spot for us to put our gear on and get ready for the days trip Kitchen worked out great for meals

Magnificent lake view and the perfect deck to enjoy the view! You can actually see the sunrise in the morning. Ample space with all the necessities. Like some of the reviews, the house is a bit old but it does not affect the quality of your stay. The only thing kind of bothers me (tiny bit) is the kitchen light. It’s relatively dark so not very convenient to cook when it’s dark outside. Otherwise, this place is a gem!

Our family “LOVED” the house and location! We had 8 family including our family from Germany and Italy. It was the perfect size and location for our stay! Very clean and spacious. The location was beyond amazing with a spectacular view over the private lake!

We loves our stay! The home is SO cute. And every detail was considered to make the home dog friendly. I love the proactive communication from Jacky to make sure we were taken care of at every turn. This home is the perfect quaint cottage... and feela JUST at home! We loved EVERY minute of our stay. The lake views were also incredible!

Super easy to get to from the ferry and instructions for entry we're good. Plenty of space for our family of 4. it was COLD so we didn't get to do a lot outside but we thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace (plenty of places to buy wood) and playing games. Loved our visit!

This was a sisters getaway..Pam’s beach cottage was such a pleasure!! Very clean and organized..decorated so nice .. Everywhere we wanted to visit was within a few minutes to a couple hours ..very easy driving!! I would recommend Pam’s cottage ..it is a different kind of layout and the bed in the loft you do have to climb a ladder..but we managed all and so glad we did !! Very nice area..I think you will enjoy as we did ..Pam is a really a wonderful host and if anything is needed she always answered!! Highly recommend..thanks again!!!

My wife and I stayed here for a short weekend snowmobiling, the location could not have been better! if you love snowmobiling this is the spot for you! To top it off, Rich is the best host I have ever experienced on Airbnb, he was beyond helpful and super attentive!

October 19-22, 2024. We loved staying at your beautiful, clean and comfy cottage! It was the perfect landing spot for our amazing Pictured Rocks Cruise, checking in a bit early to get to the cruise on time was perfect! We enjoyed bopping around the waterfalls and 12 mile beach. A Dream Getaway at Britta's Lakefront Cabin! We had the most incredible stay at Britta’s cabin on the lake in the Upper Peninsula! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene setting and breathtaking views of the lake. The cabin itself is beautifully designed and spacious made it feel like a home away from home Britta was an exceptional host—she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Communication was seamless from the start, and she provided us with helpful recommendations. She clearly cares about her guests and has thought of every detail to make the experience unforgettable. If you're looking for a relaxing, picturesque retreat with a perfect balance of nature and comfort, this cabin is the place to be. We’re already planning our next visit and can't wait to return to Britta’s beautiful lakeside escape! Highly recommend!

The location is a beautiful, serene spot on a lake. The cabin is clean and comfortable. The host responds to messages quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in early November. We could not have asked for a better weekend, nor a better place to stay. We took the ferry from Charlevoix and rented a car from the Burton's as well as the apartment. The car was waiting for us at the ferry dock, which was very easy to find. While we could have easily walked to the rental place, it was really nice having the car right there. Our space was ready, so we unpacked and started to explore the island. We were also able to pick up our friend at the Welke Airport via Island Airways, which is another great way to travel (quicker than the ferry with the 20-minute flight). While it was a slower time on the island, we relaxed, made dinners in our own kitchen, enjoyed a wonderful view of Lake Michigan out our front window, and spent time exploring the island. It doesn't get much better! Thank you, Carol and Dan, for offering such a great space and making it so easy for us to relax!
