I spent a wonderful month in this location - it's clean and comfortable with good wifi for remote working - perfect for what I was after. Maria is a wonderful host who is always responsive and cleaned the place once a week while leaving me nice things for breakfast! She even gave me a lift to and from Catania (c.10km) with my heavy suitcase. Trecastagni is a pleasant town on the slopes of Etna with accessible supermarkets and other essential shops as well as a some nice bars and restaurants and several churches. This location is better for those with private vehicles as the buses to/from Trecastagni are somewhat unreliable and it is a walk of several miles to the nearest train station (Acireale). However for those with vehicles it offers good access to Etna as well as other attractions in the area such as Catania and Acireale.

Staying at this beautiful and cozy home was an absolute pleasure. From the moment we arrived, we felt as if we were in our own home. The two nights we spent here were truly worth every penny. The house is located on the outskirts of Catania in a strategic position between Catania and the enchanting Taormina. The apartment, situated on the third floor with its own separate entrance via stairs and a private parking space, offers a magical morning view. Waking up to the sight of the snowy mountain in the distance and the sounds of goats, birds, and roosters was simply breathtaking. The host was incredibly hospitable, always quick to respond, and it was an honor to meet him. This place will undoubtedly be our first choice if we ever decide to return to Catania. Highly recommended!

Isabella is a very nice Transient Lodging Tax! The apartment was perfect. My husband and I used it by the two of us. Modern,spacious. You can see Etna from the balcony. The only downside to the apartment is that the neighborhood/street is loud early,so it's a good idea to keep the window closed or use earplugs if you want to sleep late. It was great for us! We'd love to come back!

We had a great week-long stay. The listing was as described in every way. For a discovery with a vehicle, it is very well located in relation to downtown Catania, the airport (15 km), Etna as well as all the places to visit on the EAST coast of the island because close to an entrance to the highway (regular slowdowns to take into account but it is to be expected whatever the situation of a accommodation around Catania....). Sandra waited for us despite the late arrival, very well received with attention as soon as we arrived and during the stay. Warm, she has always taken care of our well-being. The space was spotless! The outdoor courtyard was very nice, it felt like home. It's very secure and always the possibility to park nearby. We highly recommend, thank you Sandra! Mickael and Sandra
