Literally amazing. Such a lovely and peaceful weekend me and my partner had. The lodge is really spacious bigger than expected. Has everything you need really felt homely. Pretty lights to turn on at night time out the front and down the bottom near the lake. Nice and quiet and private. Walked into the town (about 20 minutes) to have food at the Bluebell Inn- couldn’t recommend enough the food was amazing! Also drove Clumber Park (about 30 minutes) for a nice long walk. The lodge is good location to either do stuff or to not. Really recommend. Would happily stay again cannot fault anything at all.

Nice place, perfect location and distance for our wedding visit to Hodsock priory. Very clean on arrival. Description good and instructions good. We went in school holiday and very peaceful and quiet road. close to A1. Thanks Karen.

Katherine gave us all the information we needed, We arrived on Friday evening, the place was lovely and warm. We made ourselves right at home. We brought our Dog along for our trip. The dovecote was a perfect place to relax with a super king bed and a huge shower, all the facilities we needed. A perfect getaway for the weekend. We’d love to return some time in the future Highly recommended. 5 Star

We cannot recommend Lydia and Jason’s place highly enough. As frequent National and International travellers who prefer to stay in apartments, we can say the standard of accommodation is first class. For a small unit everything to the smallest detail has been thought through to enhance your stay. A starter kit for breakfast, coffee, tea, milk, bread, butter and in our case as it was Easter a chocolate egg and hot cross buns awaited our arrival. Although small, the modern comfortable furniture, the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever found on our travels, even an air fryer for the converted. There’s every possible kitchen implement and a new dishwasher, making it excellent accommodation for even longer stays. The décor is superb, colour co-ordinated with great taste and flair. The shower room has a very good walk-in shower and there is a washing machine too. The use of your private garden room is a very nice touch should you want to chill after a day out. We will stay again!
