Steve & Peggy's home in Matawa was neat, clean and uncluttered and easy to settle into. The three bedrooms are spacious, there's a larger central area open to the kitchen. Easy to park in the garage. A nice view of the river from the home. We didn't cook but the coffee pot was perfect! A short walk away is access to the Priest Rapids Recreation Area. There is a level trail along the river. We walked this both days we were there. Nice walk, birding opportunity and easy exercise. If you go north, the trail is paved. Going south the trail becomes gravel. Both directions are good. Communication was great, emails questions were answered promptly, and we had check in information a few days ahead. We left a pair of shoes, and Steve and Peggy have been great arranging a way for us to pick them up. Very kind and easily arranged. We would be happy to stay here again and recommend this listing. We had a wonderful stay, the house is perfect for our family and we plan on staying again. Jennifer is an awesome host.

We had a very comfortable stay in the cozy cabin, and would 100% stay again! The scenery was beautiful with walking trail along the river. There was plenty of space in the home to feel privacy when needed, and the hot tub was a relaxing place to end the day! :)
