Holiday rentals with a patio in Matera

This place is unbelievable and specially unique in a unique city. Nothing prepares you for the experience of entering the place. The fusion between old and new is extremely well done in this apartment. The way the interior design is done is very tasteful and romantic. One of the many highlights is the shower area/steam room. And another other definite highlight is the terrace which provides you a private Belvedere of Matera. The location is very convenient as it is directly accesible to the Taxis and public transportation. The apartment is conveniently located near excellent restaurants which are one to five minutes away, walking. We had the pleasure of meeting the hosts, Rosalba and Gianfranco. They are wonderful people, and the best hosts one could wish for. When me and my husband come back, we will definitely stay at La Cava nel Barisano.

It is 10 minutes by car from Matera city, so it is a good location for car travelers who want to rest quietly. It was also nice for us to be able to park safely and for free in the accommodation, and the accommodation was very cleanly maintained and the interior was well decorated. Emilia was very accommodating to us.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! The house was spacious, well-maintained, and felt just like home. One of the highlights was the large patio, perfect for relaxing and spending time together The house was well equipped with everything we needed, making it easy to settle in right away. The neighborhood was quiet, friendly. Communication with our host was smooth and easy; he was very responsive and provided helpful local recommendations. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would gladly return. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable getaway!

Pasquale's place was really gorgeous, clean, modern, and in a very quiet area 10/15 min walk from downtown Matera. In the room we found everything you need for your stay, including the coffee maker and biscuits with jam for breakfast. Everything is clean and comfortable. Also top of Pasquale's assistance who assisted us during check-in and provided us with useful information for visiting Matera. Absolutely recommend your place

Beautiful place, conveniently located and an exceptional host. It took us a bit to find the place but once we did WOW! Mariarosaria met us shortly after we arrived to give us a personal tour and make sure we knew how to use all the amenities. The bed was very comfortable and the place was warm and cozy. One thing that I would call out is that the walkway to get to the home, much like most of Matera, was ancient cobblestone and lots of stairs - for those with any mobility issues you would want to be aware of this. Also - parking is quite a distance from the home. Mariarosaria gave us great directions and even arranged a taxi to come pick us up when we were leaving. Bottom line - you will not regret booking this place. We will definitely book this place again as 2 nights in Matera was not enough!!!

The loveliest house and the sweetest hosts in Italy! We were welcomed with the most amazing lunch of icy prosecco, various delicious dishes based on local produce from Puglia, as well as soft and tasty freshly baked cake. We had informed the host that we had a child of 3 years old and a 6 month old baby, and when we arrived, they had made sure to prepare changing pillows, high chairs, toys and toy blanket, hair bucket, crib, etc., so we had absolutely nothing to think about ourselves - to the very great pleasure of the parents. In addition, the host bought the sweetest gifts for our oldest child of 3 years when we checked out after 18 days in a luxurious and safe environment. We often had contact with the hosts, who really made us feel welcome and comfortable. They provided local recommendations for places to eat, sights, etc., and helped us book a table at a lovely local restaurant. All in all an unforgettable stay! 5 stars to Ottavio and Margherita. We will definitely be back!

i recommend Maria's accommodation....in a magical location...in the heart of the Barisano stone. The accommodation is very nice, with attention to detail, very welcoming. Maria is a kind host,friendly, always very present to help guests ... she made us find the coffee and muffins prepared by her and also indicated and booked the restaurant for dinner !!!!.....what to say everything really super !!!
