We had a fantastic stay at Melograno! The place is located in the centre of Matera which was very convenient for my elderly parents. The accommodation has an amazing view of Matera, is beautifully decorated and it is exactly how is shown on the photos. Anna is a great host very responsive and helpful. I would recommend this place 100%. Francesca

A wonderful Sassi experience. Staying in a cave equipped with modern facilities was a valuable experience and my kids loved it. Tiziana and her parents are approachable and gave us useful information on check-in and sight seeing spots. Highly recommended.

Esperienza unica, dormire in una grotta arredata con elementi antichi che ti fanno tornare indietro nel tempo è un' esperienza impagabile. È stato un soggiorno unico, l' alloggio ha una bellissima posizione ed è molto pulito. Milena è gentilissima e risponde sempre in modo molto veloce !

Linda's place was amazing - it has the most 'personality' of any Air B&B that I have stayed in. As soon as we sent our friends some photos - they were all saying "wow"... I really appreciated Linda giving me some handy hints on where to park our hire car and was glad when she helped me work out how to get her to her place. The mistake we made was relying on the maps link which was not accurate. I know understand that Maps are hard to use in places that are as steep as Matera. Matera was so quiet just before Christmas that we were concerned that nothing was open for dinner. This was our mistake - once 7:30/ 8pm hit, there were many amazing places to eat at. We have recommended Linda's place to some of our friends who now kow about Matera as it is not a usual place on the tourist map for a lot of Aussies doing their whirlwind trips to the other side of the world!

Nous avons adoré notre expérience, l'appartement qui est très bien situé a été rénové avec très bon goût. Nous y sommes restés 2 nuits, mais une 3e nous aurait permis d'aller faire la randonnée dans la montagne juste à côté. Nous nous reprendrons.

What can I say? Giovanni’s place was spectacular. Even before our check in, the hosts helped us with questions we had and accommodated us with our needs. When we got to the place, we were amazed how beautiful, luxurious, and spacious the place was. We definitely got the experience of living/staying in a cave. The surrounding area was also really good as it’s close to sites and restaurants. Everything we needed and more was there and I can’t emphasize how great our experience was with this place and hosts. Would definitely love to come back and book this place again and again.

Location da paura al centro di Matera, apri la porta e ti trovi una delle chiese principali a destra e una magnifica vista dei sassi a sinistra, se mai tornerò a Matera sarà di sicuro l unica stanza che vorrò, l’host super cordiale e accomodante, lo consiglio senza ombra di dubbio.

Francesco was very friendly, responsive and also helpful! His cave house is a special experience to try. It might get rather cold in the night and there was indeed a musky smell as others have reviewed but you get used to it very quickly. The location is perfect with lots of restaurants just right by the door step!

La casa es un sueño!!! Sorprende cada detalle, ultra acogedora. Cama espectacular, todos los accesorios de cocina son impecables. La casa tiene una energía maravillosa. El mejor AIRBNB que ya estuve!!! Los anfitriones son muy amables y responden rápidamente a cualquier necesidad.
