Holiday rentals with a sauna in Massanutten

We had a very nice stay at Massanutten. Check in and check out procedures were simple and easy to follow. We loved seeing the wildlife.

I was looking for a nice mountain getaway and I feel like I found exactly that. The suite is part of a series of buildings/cabins at the end of a gravel driveway. The mountains are very pretty as you arrive. The suite itself was rustic but nicely equipped. I felt like I had everything I needed and it was very clean. There was a pond and walkable paths also. Great chance to explore Shenandoah National Park and Charlottesville also! If you need a place to stay in this area I felt like it was a good choice. Nice outdoor seating area also.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! The room was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were friendly and responsive. We especially loved the jacuzzi—it was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. Another unexpected highlight was the friendly cats in the community, which made our stay even more special since we’re cat lovers! The only minor downside was the shield bugs in the room, but that’s to be expected in a wooded setting. Overall, everything else was perfect, and we’d happily stay here again!

stayed 2 weeks here over Christmas and new years to see family. place was very accurately described, pictures are accurate. well stocked kitchen, great washer dryer, plenty of space for 4 to 8 people. older/classic vibe but we had a great time and the hosts were some of the most responsive and helpful I've ever had at an airbnb. I would 100% return for a short or extended stay.

It was a great stay. The beds were comfortable in the sauna was a nice touch. Everything about the place was comfortable.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Woodstone at Massanutten and appreciate Greg offering his timeshare credits at this resort as an Airbnb. Note: this is not Greg's personal home/condo and the actual condo number is assigned by the resort when you check in at the resort lobby (with a very long line but friendly staff). The condo was exactly as Greg described (although you could tell the unit hadn't been used in some time) but it was comfy and cozy - just what we wanted - and we were fortunate to have a gorgeous view. Greg was very responsive from before we booked when I had questions about the property; he responded immediately when we had an 'emergency' on site and he resolved it quickly with Woodstone; and he even sent a local event suggestion the day before we checked out. I would definitely book with Greg again as I know he would make sure that whether it's his actual home or a timeshare he has credits for, he will ensure we are taken care of so we enjoy our stay. Thank you, Greg!

Clean and spacious place, with enjoyable environment. Hosts are very communicative and responsive.

We had a large group at the compound by the swinging bridge for New Years and it was absolutely ideal! We played games by the fire place, cooked delicious meals, relaxed in the sauna and hot tub, danced and watched movies in the game room, laughed around the fire pits, played frisbee in the lawn, and watched an incredible double rainbow over the river after a thunderstorm. The beds were very comfortable and the vibe was cozy and lived in. Taki was great to communicate with and we’re very thankful to him and his family for creating such a sanctuary. We definitely hope to return!

Shabina was a great host. The property is lovely and there are so many activities! There was a minor issue with the hot tub but Shabina responded very quickly and the hot tub was back in business in no time. And she brought us some pastries for the trouble, which was totally unnecessary but very kind. We also loved the fenced yard for our dog. Thanks for having us!

We had a great trip. This place is great for kids. We had to cancel our tubing reservation because of rain. The kids barely noticed because there was so much to do at the house. They loved the hot tub and the game room the most. There was also comfortable space for the adults to relax. No one was ever bored, we would love to come back! Thank you for a great stay!

More than the place, I love how Stephen and Stephanie are so accommodating and responsive. They are very friendly and they always make sure that their guests are comfortable. Additionally, their place, undeniably beautiful! 💕 5 star experience indeed.

From the moment we pulled up, we were mesmerized by the location and view! The house was beautiful, inside and out! We decided to take a last-minute trip to snowboard for the snow that was expected. Logan was so responsive, and I loved that we could book the day before - and everything still went smoothly. There was so much room, and my kids had a blast with all the fun things to do in the basement. We played arcade games and connect 4; my daughter also loved the room that had so many toys supplied! The whole layout was perfect for a peaceful retreat while still supplying the kids with enough to keep them entertained! The kitchen was thoroughly supplied with everything I needed, so we didn't have to eat out the whole time. Also Logan and the property manager were so helpful in notifying me to move my vehicle before the possibility of getting towed! Definitely keeping this airbnb saved for future bookings, especially for larger groups!

Had an awesome stay and Sam and Alex's mountain home. They were extremely responsive, responding to most inquiries in less than 20 minutes. My wife who is very particular, felt that the home was stocked and decorated in a very thoughtful manner. Most anything you could of think of was available. The location to Bryce Resort was approx. 5 miles so close enough to get there within 10-15mins. Unfortunately, we did not experience a white Christmas which would have made the trip even more awesome. That said, we had fun tubing and trying to ski at Bryce resort and expect to visit there again in the summer when I am sure the surroundings are even more beautiful. All in all, I would give the home and the hosts an A+. Great job Sam and Alex!

My friends and I had an unforgettable time at this house! It had all the perfect amenities – from plenty of space to play games together to a relaxing hot tub for unwinding after long days on the slopes. The house is well-equipped, comfortable, and the perfect spot for groups or families. We truly felt at home and loved every moment of our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to have a great time in a cozy, well-stocked environment!
