Monthly Rentals in Marrasjärvi

Had a very peaceful stay in our cabin. Beautiful snow covered trees everywhere and snow covered frozen river just below us. We felt very warm and cosy even in the -26 we had one day. Slept very well, comfortable bed and had no issues at all. We booked the reindeer sleigh ride which was lovely, found out a lot about their reindeer and living in Finland. We would love to return and would highly recommend.

Staying in this genuine hunting lodge was a highlight of our stay. It smelt amazingly of pine. It was bigger than it looked in the photos and very clean. We felt right at home straight away. Sleeping upstairs was very cosy, we all slept really well. Communication with Anne was amazing before and during our stay. The outside space was fantastic for the children to play and sledge, we tried a walk through the deep snow through the forest. The peace and privacy around the lodge were amazing. A real highlight was toasting marshmallows on the firepit outside. We were lucky enough to see the Northern lights from the yard one night. It really is a magical place.

Wish we have allocated more time to enjoy the peace and amenities of the place. Managed to see northern lights near the river at the back of the place on one of the nights. Would wish the sauna place is electrical so that it is easier to set up. Nonetheless, nothing else to complain

The place is absolutely amazing, but Paula is also adding the extra layer of experience to the trip. Thanks so much for the help on local recommendations, booking tours for us and guiding us through the stay. We really love the location itself but also the tiny house concept with the biological toilet. The sauna has a nice view & we appreciated also all the gear that was free to use. Thanks Paula - looking forward to stay again!
