Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Marion Bay

What a unique and beautiful place! So full of warmth and character it was an absolute treat to stay at wattlebird. The house is a short walk to second valley but still has an incredible view. We stayed with our two kids who were delighted to have their own rooms, we all enjoyed playing the supplied games, eating our meals on the gorgeous deck and generally being in the space - it’s clear a lot of love has gone into it. Despite being close-ish to other houses it’s quite private and very peaceful. We would definitely love to stay again. For anyone not familiar with the area second valley beach is small but great for kids, soft sand, super calm and clear water and with a long jetty that the bigger ones can jump off. We loved snorkelling and swimming and would definitely bring some fishing gear next time.

We really enjoyed our stay at Katie’s house! It is close to the beach, well maintained and it has lots of accessories.

The photos definitely don't do this place justice! My friends and I loved the deck area for eating meals and hanging out. The house feels homely and has lots of character, with everything could need. Highly recommend. Thanks again Steve!

Our family of six adults and two children had a wonderful week in Copperstone in early December 2024. The house is modern, clean and comfortable and has air conditioning, which is needed, especially in the warmer months. The kitchen is well appointed, and the beds are comfortable. We were privileged to experience Kangaroos in the front garden and Koalas in the back garden. As there are no places to purchase provisions in Emu Bay, we would have appreciated a welcome package/gift to include the basic necessities including bread, cereal etc. The nearest supermarket is Drakes in Kingscote, where you can purchase general groceries, meat, poultry, fruit and vegetables. There is a well-stocked bottle-shop in the next street. These facilities are approximately 15 minutes by car (4 wheel recommended) from the house. I recommend this property which overlooks beautiful Emu Bay and is well located. We left feeling that we all had a unique experience and were rejuvenated.

A beautiful and relaxing place to stay, a wonderful part of the world and the house had everything we needed. Our family really enjoyed our visit and we'd love to return!

We had a fantastic stay! The place was clean, spacious, and had easy access, making it very convenient. The hosts were incredibly friendly and always responded promptly to any questions we had, which made the experience even better. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this place to anyone!
