Holiday houses in Maria Island

Kate's place was a fabulous place to stay with my doggo. One of the most generously well-equipped kitchen's I've experienced, super comfortable beds, warm and homely and a stunning view across the lake! Kate is a wonderfully warm and kind host, easy and responsive communication. I highly recommend Kate's place and will definitely stay again.

Naomi was consistently very responsive to questions and concerns. We loved the house—nice layout, comfy bed/pillows, great bathroom with tub set up for enjoying a book (and also a good separate shower), kitchen that allowed us to cook with a generous selection of spices. Convenient to ferry and rest of Bruny. 3 days flew by.

Spent three nights at Lisa's place and never left it! The view from the deck was amazing. The house was clean and tidy and had anything you would need for cooking. Good TV service as well. Did a few walks from the house down to and around the lake. We had a great time there and would recommend it for a break away. The only possible problem for those with low slung 2wd is that it does have a long, fairly steep and rocky drive. We made it up but the wheels were spinning in places. Still had a great time there.

All the thing is perfect. Thanks for Tracy’s lovely house. The only flaw is that the washing machine is leaking of maintenance. And it is not as clean as we think. Cheers

Steve's place was an incredible experience. I didn't have to think of anything this Airbnb was so well equipped with basic amenities and a well stocked kitchen. We loved how peaceful and serene the location was and walking down to the beach for a (cold) plunge. It was spacious and comfortable, while also feeling like a home away from home. The drive into Hobart was 25 mins and it always went felt so much quicker than this because of how easy the drive was. We loved the contrast between the Airbnb of being peaceful and feeling relaxed, while having Hobart and lots to do so close. Steve was responsive and a great host, offering plenty of information and recommendations. I honestly can't fault Steve's place. We'll be back!

The house is large, beautiful and well appointed. Google maps will try and send you the wrong way, but the instructions provided clearly explain this. Wasn't quite expecting planes coming in so low, but they weren't an annoyance & the kids loved them. (No planes during the night).
