Location, location, location. Really great little place with a cool and relaxed vibe nestled in a peaceful glen between coastal redwoods and the Pacific. Within minutes of charming Mill Valley and just across the bridge from one of the world’s great cities. Danson’s place is a great find!

I had a fantastic long stay at Tanya and Daoud’s beautiful and serene guesthouse! The apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated and comes equipped with all the modern trappings you’ll need for a shorter or longer term stay. The bed is very comfortable and the apartment quiet and peaceful any time of the day/night. There is a private terrace right outside the door which gets ample of sunlight throughout the day. I loved sitting there whenever I could to soak up the air, scents and zen vibes of the treelined space. The hosts are extraordinarily kind, helpful and accommodating. I loved it here and will definitely come back when I can. Thank you Tanya & Daoud! :)

Had such a beautiful and peaceful stay at Marsha’s! She’s incredibly sweet and recommended great spots! I recently got into hiking so the area was perfect!

If you’re looking for a great place to call base camp while you hike or explore different areas of the bay this is it! Wonderful host with impeccable organization. Everything is labeled and thought of in advanced. Extra blankets, towels, space heater, utensils, a small fridge, paper plates, and even a microwave. Extra phone charger too! Everything is also as advertised, the space is accommodating for 2 adults. The shower has wonderful pressure and the heated bathroom is a win! If you’re looking for a place close to Muir Woods but also close enough to get you into SF I would 100% stay here again.
