House was lovely and clean with everything we needed. Thanks so much for a lovely stay, we had a special weekend.

We planned a riverside getaway with some friends and a boat. House has a lovely deck overlooking the river and floating jetty- we spend many hours there. The house itself is really well suited for a family. It has ample outdoor furniture and deck space to enjoy. The Nespresso machine was a treat. The area is safe and quiet, neighbours are close, but never felt intrusive. The house has access to a well kept slipway- launching a smallish boat with a 4x4 was pretty straight forward. Reaching the house with a 2x4 is possible, but would recommend using a 4x4.

Perfect beach house! Beautiful deck overlooking the river and beach. Great location. We really enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to booking again for next year!

Great place very clean and super responsive host. Def enjoyed the area and the trip better as a result of some host recommendation. I would advise booking dinner early in town, it’s quite small ! It’s a particularly well stocked kitchen and we enjoyed eating outside everyday Thanks!

This place is a gem located on the bank of the Breederiver. It is perfect for a weekend away to just reset, relax en enjoy nature. We loved it!

If you are considering staying here, I could not recommend it enough. Sometimes, it is hard to put into words the essence of a place because you simply must feel it. I booked based on the photos, hoping for an off grid stay in a cabin but what I got was so much more. I left feeling inspired, excited about life, connected and whole. This place is nothing short of magic, from the cabin, to the facilities, to the hosts and the beautiful doggie lava ! I would recommend this place to anyone. I would also recommend using it as a detox from the world, enjoy some cooking in the well equipped and beautiful kitchen, rest around the fire , and take a coffee to the walkable waterfall 5 minutes walk from the property. Meeting Derek and his son was truly a weekend I’ll remember - their kindness and consideration was something extraordinary. Thank you gifting me with for my favourite weekend in South Africa so far - I can’t wait to come back !

Our stay in Arniston was fantastic! Not only did Jo contact me after my booking was made, but sent clear and easy to follow instructions regarding the check in as well what was supplied and what needed to bring. Upon arrival the house was clean, welcoming and cozy. We were a larger group but had lovely weather and the courtyard was perfect for the kids to play in - Jo even organised a camp cot for our baby. Jo thinks of the finer details, and Rovina is always willing to help as well. Feel free to book - our stay was fantastic! Thank you Jo and Rovina!

Wow, what an amazing place! Set in quiet beautiful surroundings, and in the cosiest of cottages. Perfect for a night of star gazing from the hammock. Lovely touches with books to read and games to play. Esti is the most amazing hostess. We’d absolutely love to be back.

we loved it. here you really get down to gear, we enjoyed the view and the surroundings. fantastic nature wherever you look. the hosts were super friendly and helpful. we stayed two nights but would definitely recommend more nights so that you can really get all the impressions.
