Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Mad River

We were so happy to get a white Christmas and a nice place to enjoy it. As a couple, it was nice to have someone that didn't triple their rates like so many people are doing, as I assume they think multiple people are always going in on rentals. We will definitely be back!

Dennis's place was perfect for our ski weekend at Killington! It was cozy and had everything we needed. You can tell Dennis has put a lot of thought into everything, and it made us feel right at home. The hot tub was amazing after a day on the slopes!

The location was great!. Not far from the Craftsbury Outdoor Center and Greensboro Trails! Also an easy walk to the General Store and the Village Store. A nice quiet street to walk the dog. The house was clean and cozy. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again!

Karen's place is amazing! We stayed with our 2 pups and they loved having a whole big yard to themselves. When my husband and I were ready to go in, we could leave the doggy door open and the dogs could come in when they were done playing in the snow. Karen had a plow guy come after each snow so the driveway was almost always accessible. We would love to come back!

This place is absolutely incredible! The hosts were accommodating and made sure to have us freshly plowed out based on our arrival time. Pictures can’t possibly do it justice, you just have to experience this place in person. Wonderful for groups and families. My son loved all the board games available that we played by the fire. Located right between Killington and Stowe. The general store down the road baked some fresh bread for us. Everyone was so friendly and the space is beyond words.

Loved staying at the Sanborn lodge! Incredible view from the back porch and nested inbetween 2 areas of Stowe that made finding places to eat and getting to Ski/hiking destinations a breeze. The Sanborn lodge felt like walking into my own cozy home and made our time in Stowe amazing.

Plenty of room for our family of five. There was absolutely nothing we wanted that wasn't available in the house. The place was clean and comfortable. Short drive to Stowe base for skiing with restaurants along the way and not far from the town either, but neither is walkable. Stacy was super responsive and friendly. We had a great stay.

Our stay at Upper Dipper was fantastic and we cannot wait to go back. Jim was so helpful and responsive before, during and after our stay. The house is well appointed, clean and very cozy. Each bedroom is spacious and feels like a little escape. The location cannot be beat. And, the hot tub makes it a perfect Apres house! Thank you, Jim, for a wonderful stay!

We had a very comfortable stay. The setting on the river was quite peaceful, and the home was comfortable. It was a quick drive to Norwich University to watch hockey and visit our daughter, also a quick drive into Montpelier. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals in, and we enjoyed setting the puzzle. We will definitely stay again when we come back for another visit.

A Cozy and clean apartment in the mountains nearby to skiing. Katelyn gave useful instructions for getting in and the place looked just like the photos. The dishwasher worked great and there were enough pots and utensils for me to cook meals. A few things to keep in mind: It is on a mountain so you need an AWD vehicle during the winter or mud season, but with one I had no problem at all. It is also underneath a house, so you can hear footsteps or voices from upstairs. This didn’t bother me since I live in an apartment building, but something to know if you’re not used to that.

An amazing place tucked into the mountains of Vermont. This space was perfect and made us feel right at home. We loved the hot tub and electric fire place. Kitchen was perfect for making our own meal. Would love to come back!!

We had an absolutely phenomenal stay at Sue’s place. We met her husband as well, and he was so kind and helpful. It was accurately described, very clean, and she was very responsive. We were impressed with how much light the apartment let in the middle of winter. The backyard views were incredible. It was an absolutely perfect stay for what we needed. We visited the college and were only five minutes from the campus. The town is very cute with everything we needed right there at our fingertips. We would 10 out of 10 highly recommend and come back at any time of year. This is a property that would be beautiful during every season.

Benjamin’s Airbnb was so cozy and clean and great little home away from home. He is friendly and responsive and I can’t wait to stay at one of his airbnbs again!

Beautiful place to stay! Hosts were very friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Amazing value for the price! Just outside of the city but close enough to explore and discover many hidden gems. Would definitely recommend!

Great location for access to the bus to Stowe. Very comfortable space. Christopher responded quickly to questions and followed up to make sure we were satisfied. Recommended.

My group had a wonderful stay. Maude provided all the info you could need before arriving. The cabin had plenty of cookware and supplies to last our stay. Everything was clean, easy to use, and Maude was very responsive to any inquiries. I would stay here again!

This tiny cabin was definitely a labor of love made by the hosts and it paid off! The home was so cozy, well made, and private with it nestled quietly in the trees. Sitting by the fireplace was the perfect end to a day of skiing. Tucker and Chelsea were extremely communicative and plowed the driveway close to our arrival time to make getting there a breeze. This place is definitely worth the experience!

We could not have asked for a better place for our eclipse adventure. The two bedroom cabin was spotlessly clean, well-appointed, cute and plenty of space for the 4 of us. We loved being out in the woods and enjoyed our walks around the pond enormously. Easy to get to restaurants and other activities, but away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Not a thing to complain about, and would definitely recommend to anyone!

We had such an amazing stay at this cabin. It was exactly what we were looking for, a quiet weekend getaway. It was very private and Francey was a great host.

An amazing host and an even more beautiful location. The perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature while still having the option to go explore local communities. George is an awesome host that was responsive, clean, and friendly. Worth the paycheck and the best view money can buy!

This is such a beautiful spot - the view is even better in person! We loved cross country skiing around the property, watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee, and eating dinner by candlelight in the evening. We were also pleasantly surprised by the amount of electricity that the solar panels offered. Great place, great hosts - would highly recommend!

Home now after a couple days at the cabin. Feeling fully rested and can’t express enough how much we needed this getaway. Ago and Marty go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and provide you with everything you could need to relax and have a great time. We will be coming back here. Hopefully soon.

This was our second stay at Jill and John’s cabin. It was just as wonderful as we remembered the first time. The cabin is very comfortable in the property surrounding the cabin is beautiful. We hope to return again soon.
