Monthly Rentals in Machipongo

The house is in a quiet neighborhood and very little noise was heard when you’re inside. The house is older and does need some maintenance but nothing that hindered us from having a nice stay! Also, added bonus - no checkout cleaning requirements!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Chatham Farmhouse! Not only was the historic Farmhouse a welcome change from typical lodging, the hosts could not have been more accommodating and friendly throughout the duration or our stay. The serene setting, coupled with close proximity to the winery, made for one of the best ways to experience the Eastern Shore. We are very much looking forward to returning during the summer months, and would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Very large open space unit. Very clean, beachy motif. Well equipped efficiency studio. Check in was easy. Had some street noise being on second floor, loud pickup trucks driving by. Not the best views around. Could partition off kitchen/dining/living/bedroom for more cozy feel. Easy access to highway and close to Cape Charles where I was headed. Gail was very responsive.

We had a wonderful stay in Machipongo! We loved the location and the cozy getaway. We were lucky enough to have a super clear night and a wonderful display of stars! We wished we had more time to explore and would definitely stay here again in the future! It had everything we needed. Thanks for being a great host!
