Waterfront holiday rentals in Machar

Absolutely beautiful location for a relaxing getaway. Quiet and serene sandy beach. Kayaks available as described and we thoroughly enjoyed taking in the views from the lake. Great place to take the opportunity to try out the SUP in the shallows of their sandy beach. Bev and Louise were welcoming and readily available to answer any questions. We truly appreciate our hosts for sharing their home to provide such a wonderful experience.

Maria’s cottage was perfect for our family of four, including two teenagers! The cottage was spacious and clean. Outdoors was absolutely beautiful with various seating areas - a patio with tables/chairs, Adirondack chairs around a fire pit, picnic bench closer to the lake and then more Adirondack chairs right on the dock with a gorgeous view of the lake. The cottage had various outdoor sports/leisure items (kayaks, volleyball, badminton etc). Indoors there were cards, colouring books/crayons, novels etc. All of these made for a fun few days through rain and sunshine. Communication with Maria was timely and kind. We all had a restful and enjoyable 3-4 days at Maria’s cottage and would highly recommend it!! Thank you!!

Amazing hosts in a gorgeous place! The apartment has everything you need from the fully equipped kitchen to a large living room and a separate bedroom with the deck on the lake side. Lesley and Ian are very friendly, and they have a lot of experience travelling which you can tell from all the detail and attentions available for us to use. Don’t hesitate to ask them for anything, they have a lot of great recommendations to make. The view is stunning, we went there during winter so a lot of snow everywhere and we can easily imagine the view on the lake in summer… we’ll be back for sure.

Anthony's place is a hidden gem nestled in the beautiful countryside, close to town but surrounded by a serene forest. The property is situated on a stunning lake, which was frozen due to the cold winter weather. The cozy yet spacious cabin comfortably accommodated three adults and two small kids, providing all the amenities as described. The view from the large windows and balcony overlooking the lake was breathtaking, offering a peaceful retreat in nature. Anthony was incredibly friendly and provided excellent check-in instructions and recommendations. We had the pleasure of meeting him, and he was super welcoming. This stay was an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil escape in nature.

Very clean, well stocked with everything you would need for a lovely holiday. Location near Avery Beach and awesome trail network. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Glen's place!!! Waking up to that view of the lake every morning definitely spoilt us as we are missing it dearly! The hosts were always there to help and responsive to any questions we had. We got a lot of local recommendations to explore the neighbourhood and the surrounding areas. We got to stargaze for the first time in our lives and live our cottage dreams! We are definitely counting down to when we can stay their place again

The cottage is gorgeous! Came equipped with everything we needed for a long weekend! We enjoyed relaxing on the dock and swimming out to the water trampoline. Lots of wood stocked for campfires which was greatly appreciated! Perfect location - 25 min drive to Limberlost Forest to hike and 10min to the delicious Henrietta’s Bakery! Will definitely return!

We had a great stay, very beautiful area. We originally found it difficult to locate with our GPS taking us to the wrong location. However, that was our own mistake missing this detail in the listing as the hosts did mention this and described how to best locate the location. Hosts were quick to communicate with us when we got a bit mixed up in our directions. We did not realize that the Air BNB was located at a marina, but a visit in the fall was very peaceful and quiet. The fall colours were beautiful. Spacious and clean accommodations for a good price.

Our family really enjoyed our time at this beautiful cabin! Check in was quick and easy and Jadey was extremely responsive to messages. Communication was great from arrival to departure. While we did not have access to the wifi, these things happen and we understood. A storm that blew in the day prior caused some issues which didn’t affect our enjoyment and it was a good opportunity to “unplug”. Included availability of the Kayaks, canoes, and water bike was a great way to explore. Excellent location for young families looking to spend relaxing days on the clear and shallow beach with the kids. We also took advantage of the basketball net and tennis court on the cooler days. Overall we had a great stay at Sunset Cove and have no doubt we will return again in the future! Thank you Jadey and Jack.

Beautiful and very modern home! came stocked with basic utensils, pots and pans. We really enjoyed ourselves. I could only imagine how beautiful it would be in the summer! The only negative thing I'd say is that the beds aren't very comfortable. (Way too soft). And the house heats very unevenly. Extremely hot on the upper level and its like a freezer in the basement. But other than that it was a great time an absolutely gorgeous house!! would love to come back during summer.

This was an amazing stay for us, we used this location to get ready for a wedding! I'd reccomend this spot to any of my friends! Johanna was very responsive and we felt right at home the whole stay

We and our dogs had a fantastic stay over the Thanksgiving weekend! The cottage was very clean, spacious and had everything you needed. We loved using the wood burning sauna and the fire pit and appreciated that the firewood was provided. Rebecca responded very quickly to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this cottage.

We had a wonderful time in Huntsville and Algonquin Provincial Park. Igor's apartment was easy to find with the description and is very well equipped. We particularly liked the kitchen equipment, as nothing was missing. The apartment is located in a very quiet residential area and you have access to the balcony from both the living and dining rooms, and from there you have a good view of the lake. Both the apartment and Igor as a host are highly recommended and we would come back anytime.

The condo had recently been remodeled. There was excellent lighting throughout the unit. The bathroom had ample space with a good shower and fixtures that worked well. The beds were comfortable, with good bedding and linens. The kitchen was well stocked with usable items. All the appliances worked well. The view through the trees to the lake was lovely.

Peter was very quick with his responses and took the time to look up what was near the air bnb. The location was amazing since it was right beside a ski resort and 20 minutes away was the most beautiful skating trail in the forest. The air bnb itself was very nice. We cooked dinner and it had everything we needed and seasoning as well. The only thing would be the TV which we didn’t bring a laptop to connect to, which Peter did communicate to us we needed. It was a very great stay and Peter was ever helpful and kind ! Will come back in the summer for the lake.

My husband, baby and I enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and we thoroughly enjoyed the expresso machine. The communication was clear prior to arrival. We would consider another stay in the future.

Myself and my kids stayed here for a short staycation to go snowboarding at the local ski club. Phil’s condo was less than 500m from the slopes making it easy to get and from. The condo was clean and very well equip. Phil was very responsive. Would highly recommend Phil’s place if you plan to ski or snowboard in the winter or enjoy the lake in the summer

Pino's place was very clean and super cozy! The surroundings were beautiful and the kitchen had lots of equipment which made it easy to cook.

My husand I have traveled so many countries and experienced many form of accommodations. Maja's condo was perfect in everything:safety,good supplies,cleanliness and scenery surrounding the accmmodation. In the morning, we admired the misty lake's charm from our bed and at night, we had a great time talking about the legends of the moon and constellations reflected in the lake. Thank you for giving us good memories, MAJA~!!

Our second visit with family, great place to stay. We are definitely going to visit again.
