Holiday rentals with lake access in Machar

It was very beautiful place and pleasure stay at Nicole’s house. House is very clear as show in pictures. We enjoyed our stay and celebrated New year’s with family and friends. Special thanks to Host - Nicole’s😊, she is very nice and prompt to my query. Overall it was nice and beautiful place to stay with family ,kids and friends. 😊

Ryan and Bryan’s house by the locks is a wonderful place for families. Great open room for games and large table for eating. The bedrooms are nice with quilts and beautiful antique furniture. Large kitchen with everything you need . Great location close to Arrowhead for winter sports. We stayed over Christmas and the place was nicely decorated with light over the fireplace. We spent some time at Arrowhead which is about fifteen min away and went hiking and cross country skiing. The place was large enough to accommodate the five of us four adults and one child. Huntsville is close to pick up small items at the grocery store or to go out to eat at a local restaurant.

The home was very clean and had everything we needed . We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay . Very nice location and we were able to walk to the Main Street to look at stores etc . I would say the only issue we experienced was a shortage of hot water , warm water for showers only lasted about 7min . We just kept our showers short and it seemed to work out , the tank did seem to reheat quickly . Overall it was a very nice stay , and we would definitely consider returning again .

We had a cozy and comfortable time at Ryan’s conveniently central home. It was well-equipped with lots of room to spread out while visiting. Beds and linens were comfortable and cozy. Kitchen had everything we were looking for! Thank you for a wonderful stay! :)

Beautiful and very modern home! came stocked with basic utensils, pots and pans. We really enjoyed ourselves. I could only imagine how beautiful it would be in the summer! The only negative thing I'd say is that the beds aren't very comfortable. (Way too soft). And the house heats very unevenly. Extremely hot on the upper level and its like a freezer in the basement. But other than that it was a great time an absolutely gorgeous house!! would love to come back during summer.

Amazing Place and Great Times! Very Well Maintained!

We and our dogs had a fantastic stay over the Thanksgiving weekend! The cottage was very clean, spacious and had everything you needed. We loved using the wood burning sauna and the fire pit and appreciated that the firewood was provided. Rebecca responded very quickly to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this cottage.

James’s place was perfect for our group of 6, could have comfortably fit more. The cottage was very spacious and had everything we needed. James was awesome to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed and made sure we felt at home. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend anyone travelling to Lake Nipissing to stay here

Absolutely beautiful location for a relaxing getaway. Quiet and serene sandy beach. Kayaks available as described and we thoroughly enjoyed taking in the views from the lake. Great place to take the opportunity to try out the SUP in the shallows of their sandy beach. Bev and Louise were welcoming and readily available to answer any questions. We truly appreciate our hosts for sharing their home to provide such a wonderful experience.

Lookout loft is very clean, cozy and comfortable. It was exactly what we needed to be close to outdoor winter activities. It is very walkable to downtown Huntsville for great restaurants and shopping. We spent the day skiing and skiing at Arrowhead Park which is only a short drive away. Hunt was a very responsive and helpful host. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend this listing to others that are looking for a place to stay in Huntsville. Great place!

Maria’s cottage was perfect for our family of four, including two teenagers! The cottage was spacious and clean. Outdoors was absolutely beautiful with various seating areas - a patio with tables/chairs, Adirondack chairs around a fire pit, picnic bench closer to the lake and then more Adirondack chairs right on the dock with a gorgeous view of the lake. The cottage had various outdoor sports/leisure items (kayaks, volleyball, badminton etc). Indoors there were cards, colouring books/crayons, novels etc. All of these made for a fun few days through rain and sunshine. Communication with Maria was timely and kind. We all had a restful and enjoyable 3-4 days at Maria’s cottage and would highly recommend it!! Thank you!!

Amazing hosts in a gorgeous place! The apartment has everything you need from the fully equipped kitchen to a large living room and a separate bedroom with the deck on the lake side. Lesley and Ian are very friendly, and they have a lot of experience travelling which you can tell from all the detail and attentions available for us to use. Don’t hesitate to ask them for anything, they have a lot of great recommendations to make. The view is stunning, we went there during winter so a lot of snow everywhere and we can easily imagine the view on the lake in summer… we’ll be back for sure.

Anthony's place is a hidden gem nestled in the beautiful countryside, close to town but surrounded by a serene forest. The property is situated on a stunning lake, which was frozen due to the cold winter weather. The cozy yet spacious cabin comfortably accommodated three adults and two small kids, providing all the amenities as described. The view from the large windows and balcony overlooking the lake was breathtaking, offering a peaceful retreat in nature. Anthony was incredibly friendly and provided excellent check-in instructions and recommendations. We had the pleasure of meeting him, and he was super welcoming. This stay was an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil escape in nature.

Beautiful quite location! Great deck for bbqing and relaxing. Linda was great and so was the tenant Collin! Brought our canoe and caught some nice pike on mutton lake! Overall great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Susan's place. It was a cozy place to come home to after a long day of X-country skiing. The kitchen was fully equipped and the bed was very comfortable. We would book again.

I recently stayed at this cottage, and it was an absolute gem! The location is peaceful and beautifully scenic, providing the perfect escape from city life. The cottage itself is incredibly well-maintained and spotless, reflecting the care put into making guests feel comfortable. Easy access to the water was a huge plus. The host was fantastic, very responsive, and quick to answer any questions, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a serene retreat!

Great place to stay for a large group of people! Very spacious with lots of room inside and outside. The lake is on the smaller side if you have a pwc but during the week there is almost no other boat traffic so it worked great for us with tubing, boating, and fishing! The cottage itself is a little dated but there was everything we needed to enjoy our stay:)

We booked under the general listing (Having not realized that there were more specific ones) so Dan was kind enough to choose a cottage based on what he believed would be appropriate for the temperatures and time of year. And when we met down in the driveway upon arrival, he was immediately very friendly and we had a great conversation, and he directed us up to our cabin which was an excellent choice, beautiful view of the lake, nice amount of shade, beautiful inside (looked like it had recently had some updates as well), very clean, and very well-appointed - full amenities, very comfortable space…more like a home than a cottage. Had a lovely conversation with Pam while we were checking out. We greatly enjoyed our experience and hope to return next year!

Amazing cottage and great hosts. Early check-in time at 11 am! Late check-out time (the host said we could leave any time and stay as late as we like) - this was the best! Usually hosts require early check-out from a cottage which is super inconvenient - but here you can stay as long as you want and actually enjoy your last day. A bottle of wine and a thank you card upon arrival! The cottage is amazing: super comfortable, the bathroom is great, modern shower, kitchen is very well stocked (so many dishes, glasses, utensils, everything) - above and beyond other cottages. The location is private with a gorgeous view of Pickerel like, private dock, several sitting areas so you can move between them with the sun throughout the day, beautiful area to make the fire. We loved kayaks and 2 standup paddle boards, plenty of life vests. Starlink wifi worked great. Great hosts, so responsive at all times before and during the stay when we had questions. We loved this cottage!

We just returned from our stay and had a wonderful time. Amanda was very quick to respond to any questions and they’ve clearly put a lot of thought into their cottage. We had some rainy and cold days but loved the extensive movie collection and extra blankets. We loved the sunrise views from our room and slept well. The lake is beautiful (shallow at the dock) and we enjoyed paddleboarding around the lake and relaxing on the dock. We were pleasantly surprised to find such a large assortment of water toys, life jackets, and floaties. We were really happy with the kitchen supplies and found everything we needed to cook our meals throughout the week. Thanks for a wonderful week!

We spent two nights at the cottage and that was awesome. Angela made it very simple with clear information about dos and don't. Available outdoor activities are great and even enjoyed lighting the firepit. I would definitely rent again and highly recommend Angela 's cottage as it is found in very quiet and peaceful place. Thanks a lot Angela.

Had a great time at cottage. Great Location on a nice calm Lake. Very easy check-in. Staff very friendly. Very Clean and nice kitchen and BBQ. Would definitely recommend staying here. The Dome and other huts on property would be fun to stay at as well. Have already recommended this property and will probably be back.
