A perfect place to stay for exploring Speyside. It has all the facilities you need, as well as lovely views. And even on a day when I had to scrape the ice off the car in the morning it was still cosy inside.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming home in Lynchat, Scotland. The location is excellent—just a short drive to Aviemore, making it convenient for shopping and accessing various facilities. The proximity to the A9 road is a bonus, providing easy access to explore the surrounding areas. The house itself is spacious and well-equipped, comfortably accommodating our group. The large garden was perfect for outdoor relaxation, and the views of the Cairngorm Mountains were breathtaking. For those interested in outdoor activities, the Cairngorms National Park offers numerous walking paths and pursuits right from the doorstep. Nearby attractions include the Highland Wildlife Park and the Highland Folk Museum, both within a short drive and highly recommended for families. Overall, this property in Lynchat provides a perfect blend of tranquillity and accessibility, making it an ideal base for anyone looking to explore the Scottish Highlands.

This is our second time visiting the Railway Cottage and we’ll definitely be back. This time we had two labradors and a 3 month old, and we found the cottage very well equipped with everything that we needed for a wonderful stay. We felt at home from the moment that we stepped through the door. The location is perfect for exploring the Cairngorms and the Belavil Estate across the road is absolutely stunning, offering endless paths for exploring!
