Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Luxor Governorate

This place is absolutely gorgeous! It really captures the beauty and magic of Luxor. On top of the accommodations the host fed us the best food we’ve had in Egypt. Ahmed is super friendly and very accommodating and even ran to the store to pick up cold medicine when I told him I wasn’t feeling well. The host really goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and welcome. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

It felt just at home at La’ziza with Natacha and Abdul both so warm and welcoming. The house holds all the comforts listed and needed. Can’t rave enough about how wonderful Abdul and his hospitality is, the man welcomed us with a wide smile and was a wonderful host for the time we stayed in Luxor. It’s a love space and definitely a recommended residence for anyone visiting Luxor.

Tarek and his family were amazing hosts! Beautiful house with rooftop overlooking the hot air balloons in the morning. Really nice, self made breakfast from Tarik. Lot of recommendations for around, incl bike rental company which supports local children - we loved staying there! 100% recommendation - thank you again Tarek!

Abdol's place is brand new and exactly as described in the Airbnb listing. We stayed there for 6 days. It was in a relatively quiet location yet a 5-minute walk to restaurants and the recently built walkway on Luxor West. From his location, it was easy to access the valley of the Kings and other attractions on the west side. We could also walk to the public ferry to get across to the east side of the nile which is the busier part of Luxor. All in all, a great pied-à-terre to visit Luxor and its surroundings.

Big thanks to Liza and Karen for amazing time in Luxor and in this house! Karem always helps with everything even in th middle of the night. He gave us many options to spend our time, and he become a friend to us in this journey. The view is unbelievable, we’ve never seen anything like that. The house itself is lovely, it had many little things for our comfort. The AC works nice. I wish everyone to see this place at least once, and I hope we’ll get a chance to visit Luxor again. P.S. you may meet some non-dangerous insects and lizards in the house, because it’s a desert; there’s nothing you or hosts can do with it, so it’s okay :) Even though there’s nothing you can do, Karem came to us and helped with little “roommates” in the middle of the night, so nothing was bothering us at all.

We enjoyed our one night at Full Moon House. Mostafa was very responsive with all communication and his nephew Mohamed checked us in and looked after us. The view from the balcony across the Nile was wonderful and we watched the hot air balloons at dawn from the rooftop. There are basic food places all around and the ferry to the East bank an easy walk. Cleanliness and maintenance lacked a little bit but the beds were clean and comfortable. The price was good and I would stay again.

Mohammed was real friendly, helpful and caring. Stayed two nights and everything was perfect. Location is great, close to the restaurants and it’s super quiet. Definitely coming back to this place next time

The apartment is cozy, spacious, equipped with all amenities with a super market available just outside which is open till midnight. Khaled is a great host and also a highly recommended tour-guide.

I booked Kim's ground floor flat on behalf of a friend and she found it be spacious, airy and cool, which was particularly welcome given the 40°c temperatures outside! Wonderfully clean, well equipped and perfectly located, I highly recommend Al Saraya for both short and long-term visits to Luxor! Many thanks to Kim and Hassaan for being so helpful and welcoming!

The accommodation was excellent and the pool was not used, but it seemed to be well managed. The taxi driver sometimes didn't come to me well, but I'm satisfied

The apartment is spacious, nice and with a nice view. The hosts are very friendly and attentive to what you need. Likewise, they have tours and their recommendations allow you to enjoy the city. This place is a good option to stay.

A New Year’s Celebration We’ll Never Forget Staying at the Casablanca property with Sidsel and her partner Shabaan was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, Sidsel welcomed us warmly and explained everything about the house, which was spotlessly clean and super comfortable for our family. What truly stood out was how Shabaan went above and beyond to make our New Year’s celebration magical. He arranged a boat for us to sail on the Nile at midnight and even ensured the entire boat was decorated for the occasion. The crew on board sang, made the atmosphere lively, and helped our kids enjoy fireworks safely. It was such a memorable experience celebrating New Year’s Eve right in the middle of the Nile River. We will never forget that special moment. Thank you, Sidsel and Shabaan, for going the extra mile and making our trip so amazing. Highly recommend staying here—it’s an experience like no other!

We stayed at Adham’s apartment in Luxor and had an amazing experience. The apartment is sparkling clean, well-equipped, and feels just like home. The bed is very comfortable and spacious. The backyard garden is absolutely beautiful, offering a stunning view of hot air balloons rising over the fields in the morning. The location is excellent, with restaurants and mini markets within walking distance, and it’s very close to the historical sites on the West Bank. Adham is incredibly kind, respectful, and treats his guests like family. We used Adham’s trip service to visit Dendera Temple at a very fair price, and we also booked a hot air balloon ride through him, which was an unforgettable experience. You won’t find another place like Adham’s apartment in all of Luxor. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a hassle-free, memorable stay in Luxor!

I stayed on the top floor, which had a view of the Nile and a lovely balcony. The area was very quiet at night- off the more beaten path and the quieter side of the river. The unit was very spacious and plenty of hot water for showers. Plus, it is behind a secured gate. I enjoyed my stay.

We loved our stay at Luxor. It was been the highlight of our two weeks trip in Egypt. The apartment and the house were exactly the same as the photos and even better. The hosts are extremely tentative and friendly, they go above and beyond for their guests and we felt at home instantly. Hamdi and Muhammad took great care of us and they are some of the best tour guide we found in Egypt, they are professional, knowledgeable and very passionate about everything ancient Egypt. There were nothing else we needed during our time in Luxor beyond their generosity and dedication.

Everything was as described. A comfy bed, scented linens. You can have a nice time by the pool.

Omg what a place. Plenty of space. very clean. The best part of this airbnb was ALI. His hospitality 10/10. The airbnb is alittle inside but 100% worth it. Bed is so comfortable. Hot water was available at all times. Basically all in all it's the best place in luxor.

Seif was an amazing and responsive host with a lovely and clean home. It was even better than the pictures at the time when I saw the listing! He was friendly and made us feel right at home and was quick to answer any questions we had. I hope to stay with him again soon :)

Badawi promptly responded to my advance questions re: the best time to arrive, how I can go to his listing to check in, how he can show me where to go for shopping and food, how I can have my things sent to me, how my rental is private, how he will let the employees know not to bother me, and anything else I needed such as the wonderful free breakfast, WiFi, etc. When my plane landed, I texted Badawi as we discussed prior to my arrival, and he gave me clear directions on how to take the taxi to the ferry with the few things I had brought on the plane, then met me at the ferry dock, carried my things to his car, and chauffeured me the rest of the beautiful way to the rental. The place was better than expected. Rarely have I felt so at home!! He had a working refrigerator with some welcome fruit in it, showed me how to open the balcony doors for air or just sunshine, and then let me stay in peace unless I needed anything, at which time he responded very well and professionally.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Elaine's, so much so, that on my next visit, I will definitely stay there again. The spacious 2 bedroom apartment has so much charm and character. It is a beautiful vacation oasis, much lovelier than a hotel. She and her husband are both quite friendly and helpful. If you like, you can also hire her husband as a taxi to collect you from the train station and to show you around. He is very nice and professional. Even the inner pool courtyard is a lovely area to tan, swim, and have fun. Overall, I highly recommend this location. See you next time.
