Walid was a great host, making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. He was always available if I needed anything, but otherwise left to be at home - welcomed after a day exploring! The place was exactly what I expected, located on the West Bank, a very short walk from the public ferry. It offered some peace from intensity of the city. The secluded garden was a special place to start and finish days, feeling immersed in a more authentic Egyptian experience than I would get anywhere else. The Egyptian and Moroccan architecture makes for a fantastic experience, with domed ceilings and arches built into all the rooms, and some quite special bathrooms (I had a tour). My room was spacious, had plenty of places to spread out my things and all the modern features needed (AC, fridge, hot water, power sockets). Walid and his family have clearly put passion, energy and creativity into building this place and I really wish Walid success with future plans, which I hope to return and see.

Wow!Wow and Wow! Mahmoud is one of the kindest and coolest person I have ever met! So helpful and fun.His apartments are very cosy with beautiful decoration.He is an artist and his family was so welcoming. Could not have wished for more and would love to come back one day.

The location on the West Bank was peaceful and away from the noise of the city. The neighborhood felt authentic and welcoming, with friendly locals around. The host was incredibly helpful, assisting us with any issues we encountered and ensuring a smooth stay. He also arranged a private car service for our tours, which was very efficient and convenient. We had breakfast for two days, and it was amazing! The value for money was excellent, with fresh fruits and delicious traditional Egyptian dishes. Mohamed's home was incredible - definitely the rustic, traditional style we were hoping for. Mohamed as a host was fantastic - ran over a deck of cards when we asked where we could buy some and then proceeded to invite us over for soup at his family's home! He was super responsive and had a very friendly demeanor. The front yard/pool area was great for morning coffee and tea as well as afternoon swimming and lounging. The linens were all clean and very warm which helped in the cooler February nights. Given that it's a traditional style build, there is the ability for mosquitoes to move through the home at night, HOWEVER they provide Raid wall plug-ins that combat this so we never got bit! Always had hot water. Laundry machine and outdoor drying line came in great use with detergent provided. If you're looking for a very peaceful and comfortable stay, with respect for a more rustic traditional style, this is definitely the place for you. Highly recommend and would gladly stay again!!
