Tuscan Nature Views From Casa Gave

The house consists of two apartments within a wing of the Gave manor house in Sorana, a little village in the heart of Svizzera Pesciatina in Tuscany. Far from the crowd of cities, it's the right place where to escape and find relax. Admire the original wood beam ceilings and wooden fixtures while sitting around the indoor fireplace or spend a sunny afternoon out in the garden under the pergola or in the swimming pool surrounded by the olive trees terraces (airbnb.com/h/casagavenaturarelax). The apartment, with separate entrance, is composed as follows: - kitchen-living room with wood burning fireplace complete with all appliances, microwave, kettle and TV; - double bedroom with wardrobe and sofa bed. Removable baby bed available on request; - bathroom with toilet, shower and bidet. The property was completely renovated in 2017 respecting the original features, such as ceilings with chestnut beams, local stone walls, chestnut window frames and wrought iron gates. The furniture are made of wood recovered from the original beams. Outside there are a pergola covered by a wisteria where you can relax or eat and a bbq available for lunches and dinners. A ping-pong table and table football are also available. As we live next to the apartment we are available for any need of the guest. The home is in a natural setting with multiple areas for scenic hikes to enjoy. Take a trip to the amazing Lucca or to the Montecarlo vineries, or to the seaside in Versilia, have a spa day at Montecatini Terme, visit the Pinocchio Park in Collodi, and enjoy authentic cuisine at the local restaurants. WIFI connection available. Crockery, linen and towels provided. Pets welcome. Reserved parking. Breakfast on request.

We as a family enjoyed our week long stay as the house was even better than described and very quiet which made sleeping very nice after a long day in the small towns/wine country. The kitchen was fully stocked, the bedrooms very comfortable, the bathrooms quite clean and the location is truly breathtaking. The surroundings and the garden in full bloom made our experience even more enjoyable as it was a pleasure having morning coffee with amazing Tuscan hill views. We spent 8 wonderful days at Alessandro's property. The 1st floor apartment was equipped with everything necessary. The pool terrace, which was exclusive for us, was created with a lot of love for detail. The pool was cleaned daily and the garbage was also disposed of daily, so that no unpleasant smells could arise. The location is unique and the view from the terrace is a dream. A car is definitely needed if you want to explore the area's attractions. Florence, Pisa, Volterra and Siena, can be reached in an hour's drive and a must. I can only recommend it! Vincenzo and Dilias apartment complex is secluded and invites you to relax. The view is beautiful. Arriving by car is exciting the first time, but you get used to it. Very nice house located in a quiet location among olive trees. The house was very well equipped, everything was available, including a coffee machine capsule. The house has a well-maintained garden with a beautiful pool, too bad we didn't use it because of the weather. Restaurants and villages are 10-15 minutes away by car.

As a family of 4, we had a perfect stay at La Lucertola. Luisa and Colin were friendly, attentive and helpful from the minute we arrived to when we left. They were available on the phone throughout, if needed. The music studio was an incredible addition - we felt very lucky to have access to it throughout our stay. The accommodation is located up a narrow track, but this meant we had access to stunning views and wildlife all around. Although the pool was cold, due to the time of year we visited, it didn’t stop us using it a couple of times. The pool is perfectly located - overlooking Pisa. There was plenty of seating around the pool and, although other families were staying in the house next door, it didn’t once feel like we couldn’t use any of the facilities. Other great facilities worth mentioning - the pizza oven is such an experience - to make pizzas overlooking the tower of Pisa, in Italy, was incredible. We also had all the cleaning items and linen we needed too. Grazie.

Casa Caterina is a magical & mystical time capsule, you will feel enriched by the views and its walls. It will have everything you need to lead a simple, wholesome life while there. The host Caterina couldn’t have been more helpful, recommending her friends’ beautiful restaurant (Buca di Baldabo) as well helping us get the stove going after a glass of wine when we couldn’t understand the screen’s language. A super nice. The little not perfect things made it perfect. It was pure Tuscany and the pool was great. The house is very old but lovingly renovated - and it is simply quiet in the middle of nature. We had everything we needed. Mathilde was very helpful and super friendly. The approach to the house is exciting to drive, but very nice. We had 9 very nice days here and actually didn't want to leave 😉

Lovely stay in a lovely villa! Hosts very communicative and accommodating. Met us on arrival for check in and made everything clear. Lots of amenities in the apartment, road up to house was fine for our rental which was a polestar 2 so not a massively high car. Would love to come back.

Wonderful retreat in the Tuscan mountains. The view of the valley is magnificent and invites you to dream. Enjoy the stars in the jacuzzi and the lights in the valley, wonderful. Very quiet and secluded, far from the Remmidemmi of the tourist towns. If you like it quiet, you'll find it there. The place itself is rustic and beautiful, everything you really need is there. For my two daughters and me it was a nice first stop on our Giro d'Italia, we would come back:-)

Very nice place with everything you need for a successful vacation. The kitchen and especially outdoor kitchen were well equipped to easily cook nice dinners for a bigger group. The pool was very nice. The house was clean and the bathrooms looked completely renovated. The best part was the hospitality of the owners. Very welcoming people that know the answer to all your questions about the area. Would recommend!
