Beautiful home and break away for Christmas from start to finish . Town is 6/7 min drive to where you will find anything you need , even nice shops like the white company etc , beautiful farm shop and cafe 5 min drive , 1hr 30 min to Edinburgh . The photos of the house does not do it justice it is a very spacious home to easily suit 2 familys

We had a great time at Libby’s. We used this location as a central landing place after exploring around St Andrew’s, Stirling, Falkirk, Culross. We felt well taken care of and appropriately checked in on. It was a very cosy stay!

We spent a week after Christmas at Sheena and John's. It was super comfy and the views are astonishing. We mostly did get lucky with the weather and enjoyed our time a lot. The place was perfect, clean and all necessities available. Sheena and John were always available when we required support. Taking the train to Edinburgh couldn't be any simpler. Aberdour is a lovely village. Thank you, we're happy to have had the pleasure to stay at your place!

We had the perfect stay at Gordon’s Air B&B this weekend. The place feels very homely and spacious and had everything we needed including some nice wee touches like a bottle of wine and some snacks which we were thankful for. Clean and tidy inside and the rooms were ideal for my pals and I. The highlight for me had to be the beautiful views which were nice to wake up to with blue skies and sun shining. I would definitely recommend here to anyone looking for a peaceful stay and only 15 mins drive from St Andrews!

Our recent stay at a charming Scottish farm cottage was everything we had hoped for—a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, with all the comforts needed for a relaxing family getaway. Tucked away in the scenic countryside, The Cheese House offered complete tranquillity with some gorgeous animals to look at right outside the window. The Cheese House itself was beautifully maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As a family of four, we found it cosy. The kitchen was well-equipped, making self-catering easy, and the living area was perfect for unwinding. The bedroom was comfortable, and the bathrooms were spotless with plenty of hot water and great water pressure. One of the highlights was the stunning walks right from our door which were all beautifully described in a little handmade booklet inside the welcome pack. Thanks for having us :)

We had an amazing stay at the Orchard hideaway - it is in beautiful, rural and peaceful surroundings, and is exactly like the photos. It is private, warm and very clean, the hot tub is great and well maintained, and the host has thought of everything to make it a comfortable relaxing stay. We would love to come back and 100% recommend!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at one of Nick’s listings and both times it has been amazing. Not only is Nick really friendly and helpful, the space is beautiful too. We feel right at home and the farm itself is in a beautiful location. Our 1 year old loved meeting the chickens and sheep! Each little touch makes this a really gorgeous place to stay.

Stunning little lodge with gorgeous views. We came to escape reality for a couple of days and it was the perfect place to do it. The instructions on how to find the place were perfect and check in was very easy. We decided to buy some jam and eggs from Rupert and he delivered them very quickly. The jam was delicious and the eggs were super tasty. The Lodge had everything we needed and was very warm and cosy. The bed was very comfortable and everything in the kitchen and bathroom were easy to use. Highly recommend, amazing host, amazing lodge and amazing location. 5* throughout.

Joe and sue were amazing hosts throughout my stay. They were available during any questions I had and also very helpful during the storm in January. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants an escape to the country, can’t thank them enough. Will definitely be back !!

Had a great time, Laura and family were very helpful with a minor hiccup one evening. Great venue family loved it. Good location for day trips including Loch Lomond and Royal Yacht.

We had a wonderful short stay at Corlae Cottage. The cottage is well decorated and well-equipped in a peaceful and scenic location and was perfect for our short visit. We could have stayed longer and there was more than enough room for a family to visit. Thank you for an amazing stay, and for all your help!

This is indeed a cosy cottage. It is on the Fife Coastal Path with views of fields of sheep out of one window and pigs out of another. There is a great indoor farmhouse/ farmer's market just across the road.

Stunning peaceful location with wonderful views of the rolling hills and farmland. The holiday home had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend. Comfy beds and powerful showers! Definitely recommend 😄

This is a lovely log cabin I will be coming back with the kids in the summer for a week it’s a lovely cabin with great views very clean and great communication

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Manse Brae. The cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway where you literally want to lock yourselves in, switch off from reality and enjoy the peacefulness of the countryside. The cottage is well equipped with everything that you need including tea and coffee, cooking oils etc. We especially liked the outside table for a morning coffee overlooking the sheep. We chose to hire the hot tub for an additional fee which we very much enjoyed using to admire the sunset on chilly spring night. Some nice restaurants and pubs available in Moffat approx 10-15 min drive away. Absolutely wonderful stay, would highly recommend and most definelty would return.

Booked a week for 11 of us (7 children) over Christmas week. Absolutely beautiful. So much room for everyone, stunning grounds, everything in the house you could need. Highly recommended

This is easily one of the beautiful, peaceful places I've ever stayed!! The cabin is laid out really thoughtfully with all the necessities available and a super helpful guidebook! the bed is super comfy and the space is just very inviting and relaxing to sit and listen to a record or enjoy the fireplace! hot tub is a can't miss and the tiny peaceful creek running below the cabin is like a magical fairy river. Alexandra was super helpful when we had a bit of a hiccup with the washer dryer unit and wound up giving us a tour of the hydroelectric facility and a ton of wonderful suggestions for the remainder of our stay! I am leaving here absolutely thrilled to plan my return - this time the daffodils and snowdrops were in glorious bloom! and the sheep are SO CUTE

The perfect spot for us to explore the borders , very comfortable.

We had a lovely few days with our family - including 6 grandchildren and 2 dogs! . The house is in a lovely location and the layout worked well with plenty for the children to do playing pool and table football. well the bedroom were spacious all with en-suites and there is plenty to do in the area. A lovely stay. Thank you.

Great accomodation, very comfortable, well equipped, cosy and spacious. We had a great stay here, really lovely location. This will now become a favourite for us on our trips home to Scotland.

Lovely cottage right next to the Pentland. We loved the cottage and the scenery around it. Kylie was lovely and easy to contact. Would recommend to anyone who wants to be close to Edinburgh but in nature.

Had a lovely couple of nights at Nether Glenny. Merlin is small but perfectly formed. Everything you need for your stay. It was also very cosy and warm. Alison had also left out a few breakfast extras and a bottle of fizz for Valentine's day which was very much appreciated. We had a delicious meal at Nick Nairns restaurant and went on one of the many good walks near Aberfoyle. There are two very friendly cats onsite who came to our door but they also offer farm tours if you are interested in meeting their highland coos.

We had a fantastic stay at Lindsay’s cottage! Comfy beds, hot shower and lots of space. The location was very remote but beautiful, with some great walks within a short drive away. Would highly recommend
