Brigstone Stable - charming peaceful cottage

StephanieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Fantastic stay over new year's. Quiet, peaceful, remote, what more can you ask for!? Amanda was such a friendly, kind and considerate host. She and her partner live next door but you wouldn't know it with how quiet it is and how respectful they are of your space. She's knowledgeable about the local area and provides local recommendations (such as local walks and pubs/ restaurants). We asked if she had any James Bond DVDs and she came around with a huge stack for us! We had a great new year's cosying up next to the fire watching them with a glass of wine! The surrounding area is so pretty and peaceful, and very close to the Pennine way. We had a great (although blustery!) new years eve morning walk up there. The accomodation has all the amenities you could need. The little welcome hamper was a lovely little extra, and the underfloor heating in the bathroom is a great addition! Overall, I would recommend this gorgeous little cottage to anyone. Thank you for having us!

We enjoyed a lovely mini break at this cosy, peaceful apartment in Bradley. Fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Had a tranquil walk along the canal to Skipton which is a delightful town with many pubs, cafes and shops.

Shed End, in 18th century Lothersdale Mill

MollyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a very nice stay. The area is wonderful for walking. Plenty of easy to reach places to visit and use as a base. No public transport, so car needed unless walking in the location, but no shop in the village... take what you need. Pub in village serves good ale and lovely food. Jonathon is so knowledgeable about the Mill wheel and history and has undertaken the building renovations sympathetically. Underfloor heating was a treat! As was laying in bed stargazing. One of those interesting, quirky places that adds to a trip!
