Beachfront holiday rental in Lewes District

Comfortable, full of character and style. A very comfortable base in a great location - easily walkable to old Hastings and its amenities as well as Hastings and the shopping centre/train station. Great local recommendations and very clear instructions. A perfect base.

We had a lovely stay at Goldeneye. Rob was an accessible host. He left a fantastic welcome pack, and everything in the apartment was as described. Elmer is ideally located to tour along the coast. We visited locations from Portsmouth and Chichester to the west and Worthing to the east. We used our National Trust membership to visit Petworth House and Nymans. The Weald and Downland Museum is close by and is close to Goodwood too.

Superb all round. Can’t fault it, lovely place and Karen is a great host. Stayed in the lead up to our wedding before going to the venue and had a lovely time

Sarah’s home was very clean, comfortable and had everything including all types of snacks, coffee, tea, bubbly and a variety of shampoos/conditioners/soaps. The flat was also a great location - blocks from beach, restaurants and activities. Sarah had it all and was very responsive to our inquires. Thank you Sarah!

I would highly recommend Siobhan's place for a stay in Brighton. The apartment is in a brilliant location, minutes from Kemptown shops/cafes and less than a 20 min walk into the main centre of Brighton. The place is clean, spacious and has everything you'd need for a short stay. The bed is also very comfortable. Siobhan kept in regular contact and made everything as easy as possible.

Xavier's place provided the perfect home for our weekend in Hove. Xavier made communication easy in the lead up and throughout the stay. He greeted us on the evening of our arrival and showed us around. The house itself is comfortable, stylish and quirky and situated a stones throw from the beach. We'll be back again, highly recommend!

Incredible place, amazing location - was genuinely sad to leave! Jude was brilliant, helped show us everything when we arrived, and was contactable should we have needed anything else.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at Amber’s apartment. Communication prior to and during the stay was great. The apartment itself was clean and ideally located. Having access to the pool and gym at the hotel below was a fantastic perk. We did unfortunately have to request some of the stated amenities during our stay. It would also be a nice touch if there was some furniture on the balcony to be able to enjoy the view. But other than that, we had a great stay!

Return visit. Would totally recommend the caravan. We love how close it is to the sea

Have just come back from a 3 night stay. Caravan is clean, tidy and homely with a modern touch. Its in a perfect spot for children as there is a small park right outside within eye shot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are hoping to come back again! Kerry was in contact throughout when needed and replied to any queries quickly. Thankyou 45 Seaview! Becca and family.

Not only was Lisa super helpful and friendly but the accomodation itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, well stocked and had wonderful, thoughtful additions. Will definitely be booking again

Lovely stay in a great location. Easy walk into town and to the train station with frequent trains to Brighton. House had everything that was needed; Dan was easy to contact before to answer any questions and met us on the day to welcome us. Would definitely recommend and return!

2 night stay - couldn’t recommend highly enough. The location is not only beautiful but perfectly placed too. The apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean & somewhere you’d be proud to call home. The bed is one of the comfiest we have ever slept in & Carla was so helpful with local recommendations. We will 100% be returning.

Beautiful house which opens up right onto the beach. The outside area is great and the view from the house are amazing. Really nice house inside as well.

We had a great stay at Sillwood Mews! It was the best location - quiet but a short walk to everything. Lovely coffee houses, cafes and restaurants pretty much on the doorstep and of course the seafront is a two min walk! The house is lovely, clean and spacious with comfy beds. Jayne was an excellent host. We had a small issue with parking on arrival (due to some other residents in the Mews not parking with consideration) but Jayne responded to our queries immediately and was very helpful. We will definitely stay again when we return to Brighton!

Exactly what we needed and a perfect location for a family visit in Rustington. The whole area is beautiful and peaceful. Loved how close the beach was.

Nice house with a very well equipped kitchen (the best we've had in the Eastbourne area). Also very comfortable beds and loads of space. The layout of the house means that the dining room is one floor above the kitchen (although there is an outdoor dining table right behind the kitchen if the weather is warm and dry enough) which is a bit strange, but we mostly ate out so this wasn't a big issue for us (Thai Marina in Sovereign harbour is highly recommended as is Raipur in Pevensey Bay). If you have the windows open at night there is occasional noise from people walking past - it seems to echo a lot - but again that didn't bother us. The only other issue is that the water pressure isn't great, so despite having 3 showers in the house only one can ever be used at a time. However, the house really was very nice and is now at the top of my list for a return trip to Eastbourne (we go 2 or 3 times a year for my other half to go scuba diving)

Stayed here for the Brighton marathon and it was more than enough for what we needed. Very cute and cosy. Hosts were super friendly and also accommodated to dietary needs (oat milk for coffee and tea). Very lovely place. Lots to do & easy to get to our desired location which was the Brighton marathon. Very pleased. Would return.
