Absolutely beautiful location. We spent a couple of days elsewhere first and wish we had spent the whole time at The Goods Wagon instead. It was so cosy and warm, beautifully clean and had everything you needed. Sitting on the deck at the back to watch the stars at night or listen to the birds in the morning was glorious. We really struggled to leave! We will be back for sure. Local things we recommend: Bamburgh (make sure you book somewhere to eat, it gets busy and there isn’t much, there are some free car parks - don’t park at Links Rd) The Treehouse Restaurant - Alnwick (must book) Barter Books - Alnwick Beadnall Bay Seahouses Beach Long Houghton Beach (be careful with the car park times - we got locked in but the beach is worth it!) Eyemouth Beach - great for beach combing. Alnmouth - walk along the beach to go and see the coloured houses and church hill. The Cheese Room at Alnwick Deli - beautiful cheese and wonderful owner. RSM Cabs if you need a lift. Thanks Billy!

Cosy cottage next to the sea. Stunning views and peaceful location. The view of the stars at night was impressive - no light pollution. Lots of birds to watch and great rock pools. The house was warm with a log fire. The bedrooms were a good size. Beds were comfy with clean linen and bedding. We like the area and would like to come back and explore more soon.

Had a lovely few days away, only a short drive away from many good walking spots. check in was very easy and the property had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend

Wildhope View cottage is immaculate and tastefully furnished with everything we needed for a cozy retreat. Sarah’s instructions were clear and helpful with lots of suggestions for places to visit and where to eat. The gorgeous welcome gifts were delicious and greatly appreciated- thank you Sarah. The cottage is in a perfect position for catching the train to Edinburgh or Newcastle and for great walks to Alnmouth village and beach. As for the views from Wildhope View - it’s all in the name! We could have spent the entire trip just gazing out of the windows at the countryside and wildlife - absolutely stunning. Thank you so much Sarah, you created a perfect stay for us.
