Great local experience! I loved it!!! If you are looking for electricity and running water it is not for you but if you want an immersion in a local village this is what you need. Iawilem and his family welcome you and will make you discover the typical customs and customs, and will be able to accompany you and explain each of the activities that will be done (whether it is visits, or participation in the daily life of the village). I spent 2 nights, it was still short, I should come back!!!

I spent two weeks with Morsen and his family. They welcomed me as one of the member of the family. I had a lot of quality time with the locals of the village and with Morsen’s amazing family. This peaceful place is a gem. The landscapes around are breathtaking and people are so friendly. I couldn’t recommend another place to stay in Tanna, this was for me, an amazing experience. I can’t wait to go back there, it’s a home

Mike and Lina are beautiful persons. Lina prepared delicious dinners for us. Mike is always here to advice us. He came twice to the airport because our flight was delayed. The hut was exactly like on photos but without electricity and with lot of flies because of the cyclone. The place is wonderful with a great view on Mount Yasur. Mike booked some visits for us. It was wonderful. If you want to live an adventure in the nature and to forget the activity of big cities, please go there! 😉

Thanks to Tom, Naomi and rest of the family for the hospitality!! This is a truly wonderfull island and magnificent Treehouse to stay! The family made sure we feel welcome and have everything we need. Special thanks for the joint cooking and Kava time which made the stay truly special !! :) Cheers Sabine & Jan
