Farmstay holiday rentals in Latin America

Janet was a very good host, she is very kind and gave us a tour of the farm. The place seemed smaller than we expected but the whole family fit in perfectly.

There are 2 houses on this property. I was staying 2 months, and about 10 days into my stay the hot water heater began leaking in the Plum Cottage. A replacement heater had to be ordered. I was offered the chance to move to the other (bigger) Stone House at no additional cost, either until the repair was made, or for the duration of my stay. I chose to remain at the bigger house for the duration. Not only was it an upgrade, but it kept me from having to move all my stuff yet again. That was a very kind offer !! Although this location is in the country and very peaceful, Wimberley is just a short drive for any needed supplies or to visit shops and restaurants. As I'd drive down the road this property is on, folks would wave when passing. I once encountered a deer in the yard as I was heading out. It moved a little farther away, but was still enjoying being on the property a little later when I returned. Nice to be in nature and able to share the same space. A pleasant stay !!

This home was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen and bath are stocked with the essentials. It is in a rural area that is approximately 20 minutes from Waco. The only disadvantage is no washer and dryer in the home.

This was our third stay at the cottage, but definitely not our last. It is so peaceful and relaxing at the farm. Andrea and her husband were so kind to let us watch them feed the animals and let our toddler granddaughter help feed and gather eggs. She absolutely loved being a “farmer!” Andrea always communicates any special instructions and is quick to respond if there is a question. Our family loves the farm. It feels like a tranquil home away from home.

Renee’s home was absolutely beautiful! We do a yearly post Christmas weekend getaway and this was perfect for my family and in laws. Living areas felt right at home, the bedrooms were very comfortable and everything we needed was pretty much well thought of. The pool, hot tub, and fire pits were big hits in our family and everyone was extremely pleased. We even got to see reindeer in the early morning. I would absolutely recommend Renee’s home for a perfect getaway! Thank you so much!

Cassandra And Walt were incredible as hosts. We checked in on Thanksgiving and they were openly willing to open their family celebration to us. Their property was as beautiful and serene as they were. I enjoyed freshly laid eggs for the first time in my life. If a couple or a group is looking to escape the big city and the chaos this is the place to go. There isnt any big city amenities but the trade off is a weekend of peaceful beauty that will absolutely renew your Soul and put a little more balance into your life. We will be back for sure....

Bob is very approachable and kind as was his wife. I brought my grandsons down from Ohio to do some bass fishing and it was perfect. It was out and away from everything yet close to everything. A carport to put my boat under. A pool but we fished daylight to dark so we didn’t use it. I would stay there again.

WiFi is a bit spotty because its WiFi pucks and not an actual router but besides that all good

Had the best 23rd birthday!!! My husband and I wanted a peaceful getaway after having a baby last year! It was perfect and so cozy for the two of us. We enjoyed the Bonfire pit and grill. It was nice and we hope to go back for a longer stay. Thank you Kelli for your amazing hospitality and leaving fresh eggs for us!! They were delicious

This airbnb made our el paso trip much more enjoyable than just staying in a hotel downtown. The private driveway was nice and secure, which doubled as a dog run for my pup. Veronica’s notes throughout the beautiful farm themed home made guiding our stay a breeze. The apartment was fully equipped - everything from dishes, fresh towels, washer/dryer, tv, and Keurig. A nice touch were the farm fresh eggs in the fridge (so good we asked for more). Getting to see the chickens, turkeys, and ducks in the mornings was very cool too! Definitely a 10/10 stay and hope to stay here again for our next trip!

Fantastic stay, beautiful home. Plenty of space in the yards and in the house, very comfortable and clean. Our host was extremely on top of everything, answered any questions we needed very quickly. Will be back, we had a great peaceful time.

Philip and his lovely home are amazing!! We felt so welcomed and at home as soon as we booked our stay. When we arrived to the cottage we quickly realized just how much there was to do despite being away from the hustle and bustle of a big city. There’s a spacious porch with rocking chairs to enjoy a morning coffee (there’s a fully stocked coffee bar in the kitchen!!!), a fire pit with plenty of seats where we roasted s’mores, a nice grill, bean bag toss games and best of all the COWS!!! The cows on the property were hands down our favorite part of the stay. These cows are sweet and gentle giants who absolutely love the complimentary treats that Philip provides with your stay! Another giant plus was the huge fenced yards for our dogs to run around and play worry free. We will definitely be returning soon to enjoy this wonderful home!

Perfect setting for a farm away from home feeling we are starting our own personal mini farm and made for a comfortable relatable stay. House offered plenty to keep us busy in down time and the area offered ample opportunity to get out and about. Already trying to find an excuse to come back and stay again!

Our visit to Melissa’s place never disappoints us! Our family loves our stay here! The grandchildren have fond memories of their time here and they look forward to our next visit! The farm is beautiful and we all enjoy the opportunity to feed the animals. In particular, the children love playing with the dogs! Thank you Melissa for all you do to make our stay memorable! PS. We had a bonus during our stay! We met your son and daughter in law and enjoyed sharing some time with them!

Beautiful getaway! Beautiful sunrises on the back porch overlooking the longhorns and donkeys. Travis was super helpful and communicative. We spent NYE here with our dogs and felt right at home! Recommend to anyone looking for a cute quiet cabin!

Our stay was great, the unit is very clean and comfy!! The property is very nice! It is not as private as I expected as there is a family in the unit connected ( can hear kids running and people taking on the phone ). But no issues for us with that being said. The property is very nice and plenty of room to walk/roam. The unit is nice and the toilet is amazing 😂. We will be returning!! 💕

Absolutely worth the price we paid!! Beautiful home, bucolic setting. Respite from the city. Space enough to return to with extended family members when renting the other cottage. Beautiful drive past a scenic lake set among the piney woods is nearby. Kind owner who was promptly attentive. Had all the items we needed to make it our home base for the weekend. Easy drive from Dallas for a getaway. Whole visit went out a glitch! Only one small trouble… water heater had an error reading on it , but they had it fixed hours before we would need to use it that night for showers. Do wish the shop cabin we rented had an outdoor seating spot by it for morning coffee and reading. But, what a delight it was to watch the goats and chickens through the kitchen window while doing dishes!

We were hoping for a peaceful farm retreat in Hill Country away from the city for a few days, and the FarmHaus exceeded all expectations! The house was wonderful for a family of four. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was spatious and well-stocked with necessary cooking accessories, internet worked well when we had to sneak some work in, laundry worked great, hot tub was nice. The main draw was the property. Dwarf goats right outside the front porch, a roaming pony, longhorns just over the gate to the right of the house, friendly cats roaming the property. And the golf cart access gave us one of our most memorable experiences as we got to drive deep into the farm and see more longhorns and deer. So serene! The location is only 10 minutes from Fredericksburg, so we had quick access to shopping, downtown activities at MarketPlatz, and the 290 wine trail. Vanessa and Luke were very friendly and responsive and made us feel like we were long-time neighbors. We will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the G Ranch. It was wonderful to find such an accommodating place to take our dogs with us out of town! The cabin is so cozy and comfortable. The host Rebecca was kind and hospitable. Everyone had a great time and we look forward to goiing back soon!

We have stayed at the cabin 5 different times. We come back because of the cleanliness, the host, and the price. We used to stay at the hotels in the area. Never again since we found this little gem in the cow fields. We will stay here every time we are in the area.

Would recommend this place, if you are okay with living in a rural area. It is really a peaceful place and very clean!
