We had a lovely few days at the cottage for a family member’s big birthday. Such a lovely place to stay and our dogs really enjoyed it too. Would highly recommend for a peaceful few days away.

We had a wonderful stay at Clearwater cottage. It’s a beautiful place to sit and watch the river from the window, so peaceful. The property is well furnished and has everything we needed and more. The host was there at all times to recommend local restaurants and anything else we needed. We look forward to visiting again

Ellen is an amazing host! You couldn't find a more kind, friendly and helpful person.. The home is beautiful with lovely unique decorations (love the seaglass displays) and everything you could possibly need during your stay. It's a great base to go into Seaham, and we found loads of seaglass! This was the perfect after Christmas getaway and I can't wait to come back here. Thank you so much Ellen for the support with my cars flat tyre when we were leaving - you made a stressful situation easier and we're so thankful to you!

Exactly what I was looking for, peace & quiet, remote but plenty to see and do in the surrounding area

The cottage was warm and comfortable, had been thoughtfully furnished and was really well appointed. Cooking utensils etc were plentiful as was cutlery and crockery and everything you would need for self catering. I could not fault it in any way and will definitely consider staying there again in the future.

We had a very comfortable stay here. The apartment has everything you could need and was a great place to relax after a busy day. It is also in a perfect location for visiting the town and is only a short distance from the park, Abbey and town centre. Ian responded very quickly when we messaged him to clarify a potential Road closure while we were there. The only thing that was a bit unusual was that the double bedroom is accessed through the en-suite bathroom. Many thanks.

Emma’s lovely, clean flat in the middle of Bishop was ideal for us. The bedrooms are spacious with massive & comfortable beds. The kitchen is great for cooking and eating as a family & the bathroom’s fab. The living room is really cosy & lots of choice on the TV. It’s great that we could bring our dog as well. Parking right outside made this really convenient. We will definitely be back, as we have family close by. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a great stay at fiona's place. Easily walkable to Middleton Lodge. The house was clean and tidy with a lovely fire. We were very comfortable and felt completely at home.

What truly made this experience exceptional was the host’s outstanding hospitality—always helpful, quick to respond, and genuinely caring. I highly recommend this place. Linda‘s place was extremely comfortable and well positioned. It was close to the Metro. A Sainsbury supermarket and three quaint pubs. Linda greeted us on our arrival and informed us about the highlights in Newcastle to visit. We took her advice and had such an enjoyable time that we would love to come back and explore it more..

This is a very comfortable apartment right in the heart of Corbridge with views over the church. It is well-equipped and has the advantage of a parking space.

Its the second year in row we have stayed for christmas. Great location accross from a nice quiet local pub, the loft and nook are very pretty, well kept and the owners are great communicators, would recomend

Neil was very helpful answering any questions we through at him !! Met us at the door and shoulders and shoulders around the house. It was absolutely perfect.
