Stella is a very nice cabin where all details have been taken care of. Is comfortable, super clean, warm, cozy, spacious, with nice views and with its own soul. It has not been built cheaply, small and fast, like many other accomodations. I really enjoyed: -Looking at the sea and the light coming up trough the mountains trough the windows -The wood heated sauna -The music player with vinils -The non-slipper shower -The bed mattress :very comfy -The brochures and Airbnb guide, full of tips. Varangerbotn, as a region, has a lot to offer and to explore. The hosts, Arild and Synnøve, live next door. They are ready to help when need it but they are also great at giving you privacy. I had troubles to find the place due to darkness and Google maps. I also got stuck with my car twice, as roads were uphill and slippery, but the hosts helped me and pull the car with a rope, which I truly appreciate. The sand from Stella to sauna was also very helpful to avoid slipperness. Tussen takk!

We had the most magical stay at this cottage! We spent two unforgettable nights here, and they were truly the best nights we’ve ever had. The cottage was cozy, peaceful, and out of the ordinary, like a dream. The sauna was amazing, and we spent hours in the jacuzzi. To top it off, we were lucky enough to see the northern lights from the jacuzzi, an experience we will never forget. We could even admire them from the living room, making the whole stay feel surreal. Our host, Hannu, was incredibly kind and welcoming. He gave us great recommendations and made sure everything was perfect. We also did a snowmobile activity with him, which was so much fun. During the activity, I lost my drone in the middle of nowhere, but Hannu kindly helped us return to the spot, and we found it! The kindness of Hannu and Finnish people amazed us. We absolutely recommend this place and doing activities with Hannu. This stay was magical, unforgettable, and truly out of the ordinary.

The house has everything you need to spend a great time. we spent many hours at the outdoor fire pit with a fire and grilling sausages. Seeing the Northern Lights on the river bank in your backyard was the icing on the cake. The sauna was wonderful as well. All in all, great. A great house on a unique loacation.

A very quality built cabin. Very well maintained interiors. Pristine location. State of the art sauna. For winter conditions, you cannot go wrong with this place. Every accommodation was present. Even for city dwellers this cabin was very easy to stay in and be comfortable. The host was always responsive and even arrive to help clear snow and bring firewood. The location was great. Reindeer, fish, and the northern lights are present.

It is a good accommodation for 4 people. The bed is a little small as a single, but 4 are prepared with bedding. There are tableware and kitchen utensils in the kitchen, so it's great for 3 days of food. In addition, there is a sofa in the living room and the latest TV, so you can live a comfortable life using Netflix, etc. There was a washing machine and detergent, and there was a clean toilet, shower, and sauna, so I had 1 sauna per day. There are board games and sledding, so it's good for spending time in the house, and I was able to see the aurora through the front and back of the house. If you are staying in Utsuyoki for aurora observation, we recommend this as the best place to stay.
