Holiday houses in Lakselv

Hjordis's hosting was great. Everything was ready before noon for our arrival. Even the coffee was ready to brew in the machine. We were also allowed to visit the igloo next door! The place is exceptional: we were able to admire our first real northern lights, the area and the peninsula being perfect for that!

Superb chalet, very large and spacious. It has all the comforts you need. What's more, it's the house where the owner grew up and it's a sort of "museum" with lots of objects from the Sami world. The chalet is ideally situated for hiking from the house. We saw reindeer and elk in the wild on several occasions, even though they belong to Sami herders. You don't need to pay an organisation to see them, just go for a walk.

Literally the best experience ever - 5 out of 5 stars. The host was incredibly responsive / helpful, made a great tour guide recommendation (shout-out to Vegard @ æventyr), and the lodge was incredibly spacious / comfortable. Had great luck seeing the Northern Lights on the patio EVERY NIGHT, and it was fantastic. Well appointed kitchen, super fast internet (500Mbps regularly), good spaces for groups, and a bathroom in each room (which I'm coming to realize is a HUGE differentiating factor with other AirBNBs in this part of Norway). Would absolutely recommend and will definitely be back!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was super cozy, spotless, and modern, with a lovingly decorated interior that made it feel like home. The kitchen was very well equipped, which made cooking a pleasure. I especially enjoyed the sweet sheep on the farm and was even gifted some fresh eggs—such a kind gesture! The sauna was fantastic, and I really appreciated the little extras like laundry detergent, fabric softener, shampoo, conditioner, and sauna oils. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

Renate is a very kind and helpful host. She provided great instructions to the cabin and other advice as we asked. The place is charming. Besides the living room the other spaces are small but well thought out and you have all the necessities. For me these were the most comfortable sheets I have had in Norway. We listened to music, cooked a delicious diner and even had some Northern lights. The stairs to the extra bed are not comfortable and can hurt your feet - it is best to climb them with shoes. If you have a sleeper upstairs think to close all the curtains in the living room - we had day light as early as 3 am and this was disruptive for the person upstairs. Otherwise it is perfect and the view is gorgeous. No other neighbors: just you and the lake (and Renate’s house nearby but not obstructing your view).

A lovely homely cabin in Neverfjord. I'll be back.
