Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Lake Whitney

The house is impeccably decorated and has everything one could need for a relaxing stay. The beds were comfortable, plenty of space to relax and converse and had a huge table that was perfect for playing games on after dinner. We arrived late afternoon in freezing weather to find a burst water pipe out back. We called our hosts who immediately called a plumber. The host and plumbers arrived ASAP and repaired the pipes and offered to buy us dinner. We declined because the burst pipe was not their fault and was fixed as quickly as possible on a Friday night. We just wanted to enjoy the cozy home and not go out again after the stressful arrival. The only things that could be improved upon would be better water pressure in the shower, and the neighbor’s large, but very friendly, dog who kept walking by motion detector light at night and peed on the porch.

A beautiful and very clean updated home. Well appointed with lots of creature comforts. We loved the fire pit and the outdoor roof deck. owners were very responsive and checkout was very reasonable. The lots are very close together with low fences so it is not super private but we weren’t really looking for that. We had a lovely girls’ getaway.

We visited for the total solar eclipse as the property was in the path of totality. The property was exactly as described. The "master suite" part of the property was nice having its own entrance/exit from the other two bedrooms. We took my sister and two nephews with us. Our 4-year old nephew loved having his own big room and bathroom. A pack and play was provided for the youngest nephew - which was appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked and the washer/dryer was a nice addition. The swimming pool was also nice. There is an outdoor area to BBQ, however, its a community item so if someone else was using it you were unable. We changed our menu plans so it wouldn't be an issue for us. The river walk was also nice for our dogs. The property is kept up very nice, the landscaping is beautiful and the doggy stations along the perimeter are appreciated. We would definitely visit here again.

This place was a fantastic getaway from the city. The area was peaceful, and the residents are very friendly. Loved that the place was walkable to the lake, and there was plenty of nearby trails as well. We forgot to bring a lot but the airbnb came with everything you could need. I was very impressed with how well stocked the place was. The hot tub of course was the cherry on top of it all. Rodney was so kind to allow my sister to visit as well. I mean really couldn’t have had a better experience, would highly recommend!

Lauren's home was beautiful and tranquil, with gorgeous views of Lake Whitney. This home was perfect for a short weekend getaway. The hot tub was very relaxing for a cold brisk weekend in early March. The surrounding neighborhood did not seem very walker friendly but the home had plenty enough creature comforts to not need to leave. Great job Lauren!

Stayed for the weekend with my husband and daughter. House was clean and just beautiful. I appreciated independent temperature control for each sleeping area, and despite the chill - and a wall of windows - we were cozy! Too cold to go out on the lake but we did enjoy the hot tub! And our daughter loves exploring the creek bed. Area around the property is uninspiring but very close to downtown Waco for a visit (shops, silos, etc). Look forward to returning!

This place was amazing and very peaceful. They left goat food for us to feed them and it was fun playing with them. Fire place was great to have wish I brought stuff to make smores. Definitely recommend for a small get away

Host Kimberly communication was quick attention to detail in every way. Property was beautiful was even better in person than pictures description. Every little extra thing from Snacks to fabric softener sheets on top of dryer? Have never experienced in any Airbnb how above and beyond they go to make it feel at home. Extremely clean, beautiful country setting decor. Lots of board games in back patio room. View was beautiful. Will be going back soon for relax weekend stay.

Loved our visit, great views and cozy location! Great view of the sunset from the balcony and enjoyed being out in nature. Had everything we needed, even with perfect touch of slippers, beach towels for hot tub, and assorted snacks
