The pictures can't describe enough the beauty of this place. It is spacious, has all the commodities you'd expect and a spectacular balcony with a view over the lake and the mountains... AMAZING!

Probably our favourite Airbnb ever. It ticks all the boxes. It has a perfect location: outside the town but walkable to town in about 25 minutes on the lakeside Queenstown Track, and it’s on the slope below the main road into town, so you don’t see or hear the traffic. It has a gorgeous view of the lake and mountains that you could look at for hours. It has comfortable beds. It has a fully equipped kitchen, with helpful labels on the cupboards and drawers so you’re not constantly trying to remember where things are. It’s easy to get in, with access by code so you don’t have to worry about keys or cards. It has convenient parking. It has good bikes that you can take out - we rode to the Kelvin Peninsula on the other side of the bay. There’s lots of room to spread out. The host’s representative replied right away when we had questions. It’s not cheap but it is so worth it.

The studio was perfect for our stay. It was well equipped with everything we needed. Although close to town there is a steep walk up a hill to get there but not a problem. Being walkable was a bonus. Julien was an attentive host and checked in on us to make sure everything was ok. Highly recommend.

We wish we had discovered this location years ago. It was perfect for our needs: close to a small but well-stocked supermarket, a small restaurant with great fish and chips, a delicious patisserie, and a very short, two-minute walk to the Clutha River trail and our grandchild. The apartment was very clean and neat, and just as described in the listing. The bed was very comfortable as well. Kirsty was polite, professional, and very responsive in all of our communications. If our children weren't planning to move, we would make this our winter home, due to the proximity to them and all the other amenities in Wanaka and Albert Town.

David’s place has amazing views and was very comfortable for our 2 night stay. It was similar to a nice hotel room in terms of size. David was extremely helpful upon arrival and gave us great recommendations! We were able to walk into Queenstown or right up the road for food. We had a great stay and would highly recommend!

The Lake House is the place to reconnect both with nature and your family. We enjoyed the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets ever! If you want somewhere to build memories, come here. Skimming rocks was our kids’ main new activity. If you stay near a Sunday, try the steam train: The Kingston Flyer, it is walking distance from the house. There is more, the library is not only updated (Dune!!!) but it has a selection for every taste. I never expected to find “Educated”, by Tara Westover, and I did! We all challenged each other to get in the lake, a great experience to look in the depths of that marvel. Can’t wait to return to a place that has sets of towels both for the lake and for the bathroom, kids toys, puzzles, 4K Samsung TV packed with options to watch movies and the like. We hope we can come back, as simple as that. Thanks Jennie!

Travelling with family of 6 plus grandparents. Was a great stay and 5-10 mins from airport and 5-10mins from town depending on traffic. The layout was good for us as we could stay upstairs while the grandparents had the self contained unit downstairs. The main living room was great and had a big window that captured the views amazingly. The outside had a nice little outside space with table and chairs and great on the couple of sunny days. The hottub was good on our ski days and overlooked the water which was nice. The property was clean and functional and had the basics. The bedrooms were on the smaller side but was fine for that style and time of building. One thing to keep in mind is that the driveway is a little harder to get down coming from the south if you have a long wheel base. This is due to the orientation of the hairpin corner. It sometimes hard to get out from during busy times if heading south as you cannot clearly see around the corner and can be dangerous.

This was such a wonderful spot to relax and unwind with our family. We enjoyed the beach, playground and hike up shirt tail track. Both the corner cafe and flyer cafe were great. If you don’t want to be I. The craziness of Queenstown but want to make day excursions there from a beautiful and tranquil spot, this is it. Just be prepared, the water is COLD!

Beautiful scenery from the lounge room.. ! Well presented unit close to airport. We absolutely enjoyed just watching the sunrises and sunsets over the Remarkables and lake from the very comfortable recliners. Jimmy was quick to respond to any questions and we would love to re visit.

Ian's place is nice and spacious but we loved the location the most with a beautiful lake right around the corner that we enjoyed every day of our stay. Check in was easy and Ian had very clear and helpful instructions regarding parking, rubbish etc. Would definitely recommend if you want a peaceful get away.

Exactly what we needed for short stay in Queenstown. Great location walking to everything. Host is amazing and extremely responsive! Couldn’t have been better.

Nice bathroom. Loved the hot tub. Nice location by the lake - about a 10 minute drive from town. Just something to note if you are staying in Summer this place doesn't have air-conditioning. We were out all day exploring and by the time we got home the breeze had cooled the place down but if you were planning to hang at the apartment in the afternoon it gets quite hot.
