Cottage holiday rentals in Lake Tekapo

The cabins/houses at Jackie & Murrary's accommodation are really well set up with all you need. Private, peaceful, and clean. We had a lovely hot tub and outdoor seating area on our deck and a good kitchenette. Check in and communication was great. Easy to get in and out of Fairlie whilst also being slightly on the outskirts

We wished we had stayed longer! We had the best stay with Jackie and Murray, the accomodation was perfect, and we would 100% recommend the hot tub! Thank you so so much, will definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

Twizel is the perfect place to access Mount Cook and this airbnb is amazing for four people with two separate cottages providing plenty of space and privacy. The grounds are spacious and the herb garden was a great addition to the many meals we prepared. The location is on a very quiet street but you can quickly get to shopping in town. The beds were very comfy and the outdoor tub was absolutely wonderful. Amy was so thoughtful decorating the place for the holidays. We had a blast! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

This unit was absolutely wonderful. We couldn't have picked a better place. Close to town, things to see and airport for Mount Cook flights.

The Wander Lodge is really a place of rest! Wonderful! Bird chirping and a fantastic starry sky can be found here for free. Simply wonderful!!

We had a lovely time at The Beech cottage. The team communicated with us clearly before our arrival to ensure smooth check in. google maps direction were not really accurate, therefore we were really grateful to the team who clearly explained to us the directions when we picked up the keys as Discover tekapo office. They even gave us local recommendations and tips that we would not have found on google.

First time staying on a farm with lot of animals and beatiful dogs. The cottage is huge and is close to Fairlie. There is a supermarket and the famouse pie bakery. Lake Tekapo is half hour drive by car. We loved to stay here.

Fabulous cottage. Loved staying here. The bed was super comfortable and the cottage had everything we needed. Everything was clean and well presented. It was all great. Tania was very helpful and friendly.

House was very cosy, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Very tastefully done, We absolutely loved it.

Charlotte and Chads cottage was just perfect for a quiet get away, surrounded by farmland, we loved the farm animals and felt right at home. Such an amazing place!!! We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer. The cabin was so thoughtful and had everything you could possibly need. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was nice, and the outdoor area was perfect to enjoy our morning coffee. Super close into town and convenient for a day at mount cook! Definitely recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage near Lake Pukaki. The entire family loved it! The cottage is stunning, with breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains that you can enjoy from every angle. It truly exceeded our expectations. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed, making our stay incredibly comfortable and relaxing. It’s also easy to find, which added to the stress-free experience. We had the best time here and didn’t want to leave. It’s the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway, and we’re already planning to come back for a longer stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a serene holiday with unforgettable views!

I almost didnt book this place because it was quite a detour from where we had been but I'm so happy I did! It was such a cozy & quaint little cottage. The hosts were welcoming and gave us a farm tour. We were staying with family and there was plenty of room to spread out both inside and outside. There was a high chair for our baby and toys provided. There was so many nice touches throughout the home & the hottub was a great way to relax at the end of the day. This is probably one of the few places we have stayed where the accomodation is actually better than the pictures / description. It was about a 40min drive to lake Tekapo from the accomodation & we tried the Fairly bakery on recommendation & the pies were definitely worth the hype. My only regret was not booking for an extra night! Would definitely stay here if visiting again.
