Holiday rentals with a kayak in Lake Rotoiti

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lakefront Tarawera Bliss. The house was amazing - spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable family holiday. We were particularly impressed with the lovely linen, fluffy towels, and ample fridge space. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views of the lake. Diane and Rosalie were great hosts, so easy to communicate with and very helpful. Thank you, Diane, for happily sending home our forgotten item!! We would love to return next year:)

Really enjoyed our stay-beautiful place and location. Everything was great -provided feedback just to extend WiFi to bedrooms otherwise a great stay overall.

an amazing place for our family (grandparents, 3 couples, and 1 one year old) had everything we needed including toys,cot,highchair for the toddler. we loved it, walked to the beach everyday and was a quick drive to the mount. The beds were super comfy which was such a plus.

A lovely, welcoming home, really well equipped, very comfortable. Communication was great from start to finish and every everything in the house had clear instructions which was very helpful. We will definitely stay again

Stunning view! Kitchen was well stocked with unexpected treats. Max the cat is awesome and very friendly!! This was the perfect spot for our family vacation that turned into the perfect spot for an intimate wedding for my Son and his GF. Many thanks to Joelene !!

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in this beautiful house. Location was great with the boat ramp just down the road and the hot pools on the lake a quick boat ride away. Beautiful view! Beds were comfy, kitchen was lovely and had everything we needed. Bathrooms were also clean and tidy. We felt right at home when we arrived ☺️

A fabulous stay in the most beautiful spot. Amazing views just meters from the water. Comfortable beds, two areas to sit and/or eat depending on the weather, well provisioned kitchen, clean bathroom, 2nd toilet and use of bikes, paddle boards and kayaks a bonus. Will defs be returning. Thankyou!

Staying at Lucy's was like being in a dream. The perfect, idyllic, lakeside Kiwi-bach, this place matches all descriptions and photos. This place has everything - from a cozy fireplace, to kayaks to explore the lake and a modern bathroom, our family absolutely enjoyed staying here. There was a lot to do and keep yourself entertained with, we didn't struggle with having no wifi. The location is great, only 30 minutes to Rotorua and a lot of places to sightsee on the way there. The only downside of this place is that since it's close to the road there is some traffic noise, especially when big trucks go by. It wasn't an issue for us when staying there since we're city dwellers and accompanied to traffic noise, but if you're a light sleeper definitely bring ear plugs.

This is the second time we have stayed at the lake house in Lake Tarawera, We couldn't recommend it enough! Such an awesome spot if you have a boat or jetskis , If not they have kayaks you are welcome to use. Playground is about a 3-5 minute walk for the kids, Tennis Court is right at your door step. All the neighbors are very friendly and make you feel right at home. If your thinking about booking don't think about it just book it you will have an amazing time!

Our stay at Benny's charming chalet was truly delightful! The kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was exceptionally comfy, and the outdoor space offered a perfect spot to unwind. Benny welcomed us upon arrival and gave us a thorough tour of the property. He was incredibly helpful when we encountered a small issue after checking out, as my sister mistakenly believed she had left her passport behind. We wholeheartedly recommend this listing to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat.

We had a wonderful stay and the space catered for all our needs. Tarawera is a magical spot, and this venue allowed us time together without WiFi and the busyness of city life. The reserve and swings, trampoline and bbq area were major bonuses. Thank you for opening this special space for us to use. We recommend for families who love nature and the beauty that Tarawera has to offer!

Great place to stay, and a great host who makes everything so easy. A clean tidy place which makes you feel right at home. Loads to do in the area with only short drives to Rotorua, Kawerau or Whakatane. But the absolute highlight for us was being able to relax in spa looking out over the stunning Lake Rotoma watching the sun set. Highly recommend.

Loved staying here. Close to lake. Loved being able to use kayaks. Place is 'bach-y' which is relaxing. Only suggestion would be a few more toys and games for rainy days but otherwise well equipped!

Thanks for accepting a very last minute booking. Beautiful batch was great for the dogs to swim and relax all day with the lake as your front yard. Kayaks were a treat and we were given great recommendations on where the local hot spots to paddle to were. This was simple living and it’s not too far from Rotorua city centre. It is tricky to find the accom during the night so would be best to get there before sun fall.

Super cool place to stay!! I would definitely recommend! The layout of where everything is, is a bit different, shower and toilet are in separate areas. It was great weather so we were very comfy, but I’m not sure if there is heat or AC, I never checked as we didn’t need it. Cool place with a great view! Very clean and quiet!

This has to be up there with one of the most beautiful Air BnB's! The location was absolutely stunning and so peaceful. The kitchen has everything you will ever need to prepare a meal. We enjoyed our dinner next to the fire with the cute tree lights and it was just perfect. The outdoor bath tub and shower are a nice touch, with the temperature and pressure on point. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to use the kayak but would definitely recommend taking a walk down to the river to check it out. Overall, a great stay and wish we could have had another night here. Would definitely stay here again!!

Spectacular private getaway with beautiful surroundings. lots to do relaxing in the spa, kayaking up the river, swimming, trout fishing or roasting marshmallows on the fire. The cabin is a cosy log cabin built by the host and has lots of character. Would love to come back!! Highly recommend this stay.
