Comfy home, great place!

Absolutely beautiful!! This place was so relaxing and private. It was perfect for our weekend getaway. Its a truly magical place. The small antique beds make it a bit of a challenge for us "full grown people" and the outdoor furniture could use some replacing but what the property has to offer far exceeds those minor issues.Also a little better info as far as accessing the property with a boat in tow would be great. Again nothing we couldn't figure out. Will definitely return to this place. Book it you wont be sorry!

This remodeled home was done perfectly. Awesome little spot, even tho it’s a small home it feels like you have tons of room because of how it’s laid out. Grill outside was squeaky clean, and the host even brought us a brand new coffee pot because we couldn’t figure out how to work the espresso haha. If I’m ever back in the area again for work, I will stay here again. No question. Beds are super comfortable too. Thanks again!

Spent almost a week here during New Year’s and couldn’t believe how much there was to do without even leaving the property— kayaks, paddle boards, a row boat, a fire pit, a grill, a pool, board games etc, the list goes on and on. Caroline was incredibly communicative throughout the entire week and we couldn’t not have appreciated there hospitality more. Thank you!

Great location with a quiet neighborhood near the lake! It's actually bigger in person than it looks in the pictures. Everything was very clean.

I travel a lot for fishing tournaments and typically stay at AirBNB or VRBO places instead of hotels. This place was as pictured. This is the first one that I’ve stayed at that was actually someone’s “home”. It appears as if the owners just move into a small outbuilding in the back yard while their home is rented out. This didn’t bother me, but it may bother some. It seemed to be a safe place to plug the boat up and is close to boat ramps.

We enjoyed our stay. We encountered a minor issue or two, but Linda was very quick to respond and correct!

All I can say is WOW!! Theo's home was very inviting and warm. I felt like I was right at home and my son loved the TV in the den. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom shower was so relaxing. Theo was very responsive and easy to talk to and helpful. When I return to Orangeburg, my hometown, I will be sure to book Theo's humble abode if it is available. This is one of Orangeburg's best kept jewels and I'm grateful for the experience!!

Great locatiin, very cozy, and close to down down.

This place feels like a wonderful home, or a nice family cabin in the woods. It gave us a very warm feeling. The rooms had plenty of space, each with a television (the TV in the master bedroom is HUGE!) and the kitchen and living rooms were perfect for family gatherings. Excellent space. We will be back.

I NEVER write reviews but felt compelled to do so after my stay. This was an amazing stay for my family and I. We were in town for a few short days but all of our needs were met at Wendy's Place!!! First, let me express my gratitude for the extra supply of linens. This is always a plus!!!! Also the breakfast goodies, snacks, drinks, coffee and kitchen supplies!!! Its these little extras that makes a HUGE difference! I always prefer AIRBNB for the freedom to cook and have everyone together. I always make a Walmart run for breakfast items and a cheap pack of washcloths because there are NEVER enough. Staying here, I didn't have to do that. So it saved me time AND money, also allowing me to sleep in!! The kitchen was fully stocked with EVERYTHING I needed. Aluminum foil, cooking spray, spices, etc.... I just really appreciated the little extras
