Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Kivu

Sophie was really warm and receptive during our communication from when we booked her space. She had a wonderful caretaker on site called Donnata who was always willing to help and kept the place squeaky clean. I will definitely be coming back to this place in my next visit to Rwanda.

This is a really perfect spot if you want to check out Volcanoes National Park without breaking the bank. There can be a real lack of affordable accommodation for tourists in the area and this, as a two-bedroom house with small communal room and secure parking, is absolutely perfect. Saved us a fortune, and it was nice to get back from a rainy day's trekking and have that space to unwind in. Janvier and Anne-Marie really went out of their way, even helping us to order take-out from a local restaurant when we didn't feel like going out. They helped explain the route to the park entrance as we were off to see the golden monkeys. And there were lots of little touches in the house, like biscuits, a hairdryer, shampoo - anything you might have forgotten to bring. They were also very flexible about check out. Really so glad we decided to give it a try, and planning to go back as it's just down the road from Crema coffee shop which is the pick-up spot for canoeing Mukungwa River.

I have been to many places in Kigali, never seen any clean place like this. The host was kind and easy to reach. Check in instructions were very simple. I highly recommend this place.

A very nice villa for a large group of people, very friendly and responsive host (Joseph) and friendly caretakers (David and Darcin). We enjoyed our stay and the host kept checking on us the whole time. I would definitely recommend as the place is clean, bedrooms and bathrooms are prestine and clean too. A five star villa.

Placide is a welcoming and accommodating host, who helped us get settled and even arranged a great driver and tour guide. His house was beautiful, spacious and clean. The rooftop view and sounds of nature in the mornings and evenings were a peaceful treat. I would definitely stay again, next time.

Absolutely delightful stay! Uwitonze’s cozy atmosphere and stylish decor made us feel right at home. Impeccably clean, well-equipped, and centrally located. Communication was seamless, and check-in/out effortless. A perfect blend of comfort and charm. Highly recommend Uwitonze’s house for a memorable getaway!

THE LOCATION IS NOT LISTED CORRECTLY! it is 15 minute drive to the east (!) of the airport otherwise: the place was great overall, explicitly because the staff is so helpful! they got us a car for rent, they did our laundry, they brought everything we wanted right to our door. place is very clean, nothing to complain.

We enjoyed our stay at Lexor apartments. Martin and his team were extremely responsive to all our requests and everything generally worked fine. We will definitely stay here again 100%

Uwera's reception, hospitality and welcoming gesture got us to feel at home. The condition of the the house has been beyond our expection; a quiet and peaceful place with a cozy sitting room and bed rooms. It is worth more that what we paid for indeed, and I highly recommend visitors to make this their first choice, although it is not a walkable disctance from the center. We are so excited to have this place and endless gratitude to Uwera and her family.

Gisele’s place is well located for restaurants, transport, groceries, and plenty of options. The apartment is better than the photos and the host was quick to respond whenever a need arose. Highly recommend for others who are looking for an upscale apartment in Kigali at a great price.

The daily presence of the staff made me feel safe. There can be noise from people walking if you sleep in the front room but it's just security or cleaning lady.

The apartment is very nice, clean and in a good location! There is always someone on the property and he is very nice. I would definitely stay again, it's a great place for a good price!

We loved staying here. It was our first time to Kigali and we had to stay while we looked for a long term apartment. We appreciated Harriet who was always helpful and friendly. We would stay here again if we need.

This is cozy house with huge and beautiful garden. We really enjoyed walking gardens in the morning.
