Holiday rentals with breakfast in Lake Kivu

Angelique is a very nice host. They helped me when I was in trouble. "The whole family was warm and comfortable, so I extended my stay." Breakfast was also very delicious and I was looking forward to it every day. There is a green truck nearby, and it is also wonderful to be able to exercise.

The moment when you realize that your 3-week stay was far too short - best describes my experience of staying at Emery's :) Both the private bedroom and bathroom provide everything you need, even a mosquito net to ensure calm nights. The shared kitchen is fully equipped, and the terrace and living room invite you to linger and have great conversations with Emery. Restaurants, bars, cafes and even two gyms in walking distance. Can't wait to be back!

Wonderful stay in this house surrounded by people from another planet: cozy, smiling, helpful, great entertainers and cooks! You won't be missing anything if you fall into this house. The villa is under renovation, an important face wash for an old house, but well located, protected and cozy. At night you can enjoy magical conversations around the fire and share moments with the hosts. It's been great! Staying in this lovely village with Mama Emilienne was our best and most authentic Rwandan experience, truly local experiences with lovely people of the village. She's the heart of the village and we had a chance to participate in their annual celebration for kids and see their performance and talents. we've been offered great coffee, variety of locally grown fruits and veggies and tasty dishes cooked with local ingredients even rabbit from the village. the village and the villa are both stunning and peaceful, you'll have a bird symphony every morning... Thanks to Inosa, Marta and Cynthia as well for taking good care of us.

I enjoyed my stay at Flamingo. The location is conveniently located in downtown, safe and close to all amenities. The Flamingo staff are very welcoming, helpful, attentive, and do their best to make your stay enjoyable. In addition, every morning you are entitled to a delicious breakfast that is included in the nightly price. You can also order a meal on site at a good price. Wifi is there, too. Good value, highly recommend. Thank you again.

Beautiful Bungalows in great Location Right at Kivu lake. Walking distance to Shops, bars and Restaurants. The hosts are super nice and hospitable and make you feel welcome Right away. Also GREAT massage and super tasty breakfast!!! No WiFi but just enjoy the view :)

Good location on main road, close to local restaurants and supermarket. Quiet rooms with the nicest staff. Divine made my bkfst to order each day. Great value for the price!

Pleasant and thoughtful staff in a place as quiet as it is beautiful, what a pleasure to wake up and hear the birds singing, it is truly a quiet and relaxing place, we have a hearty breakfast that gives us the strength to attack the day as it should be, regarding the place it is ideally located, not far from downtown Musanze and only 20 minutes from Virunga Park, I had been there in the past before and it is certain that I will return there.

Judith is a fantastic host. Her staff is very attentive and friendly. Excellent service and great complimentary breakfast. There is also a cafe on site for meals or snacks at anytime with a large selection of items. The location is great and the accomodation is quaint, clean and a great value for the money. This was my 2nd visit and it is a soft landing into Kigali. The staff will help you to navigate your stay which is wonderful.

Heaven Villa is a great place to stay while in Kigali. I've been to Heaven during a previous visit for the restaurant (which, by the way, is delicious!!), but this was my first stay in the villa. Heaven Villa is located in a bit of a bubble, away from the city center, but it was exactly what I needed to get a quiet, good night's rest at the end of a long day. Rooms and bathrooms are both very clean and comfortable, and I was grateful for the standing fan that was provided. Internet can be a bit spotty, but the staff were always quick to give me another login. Which brings me to the best part of this place--the staff. The staff were the clear standouts during my stay. Everyone is so incredibly kind; they truly treat their guests like dear friends. Anything that comes up and you need assistance with, the staff are there right away to help. I want to convey extra special thanks to Prosie, Minnie, Nicholas, the driver James, (and a few others at the front desk whose names have slipped my mind)!! A thousand thanks to each of you, and I will be back soon! :)
