Holiday rentals with beach access in Lake Illawarra

Jo’s place is well appointed and in a fabulous location. Just across the road from such a pristine beach and amongst lovely local amenities too. The kitchen has all the utensils for us to home cook a lot of meals for the family and the place had games and entertainment for our kids too. Jo has been very friendly and we have loved every minute of our stay at her place, thanks for being a great host!

I was working in the area and wanted a place that was convenient, close to walking paths and shops, and comfortable for spreading out and getting work done over the weekend. Kate’s place ticked all the boxes. The kitchen was well stocked and it felt like you were in someone’s home rather than a sterile serviced apartment. Kate was very responsive and so helpful when I accidentally left a bag behind. Will definitely stay again the next time I’m in the area.

wonderful location - just across road from beautiful beach and lovely lake. Studio had everything you could want for a beach side holiday including beach towels, games, sunscreen 😳 excellent quality linen and towels. Cheryl provided lovely welcome treats too - very friendly helpful hosts.... would definitely recommend.

Great couple of nights overlooking the harbour with several eateries within a short stroll. Fantastic views, great location and close to several places to visit, we loved Kiama! We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone. Thanks Noel & Sally for a brilliant stay.

Gorgeous, clean apartment close to central Wollongong, pleasant walk to restaurants & shopping. Well equipped kitchen & laundry. Cute, peaceful balcony setting. Lock-up garage a bonus. Loved our stay.

Donna was the perfect host who went over and above with everything you could think of! She even left us generous Easter gifts and hot cross buns. Highly recommend

This place is at a quiet neighborhood and walking distance to the beach front. There is a beachside walk way from the park all the way to a light house. The house is spacious for two of us. Having a proper coffee machine, fast internet and netflix are plus for us. We did last minute plan this trip to Wollongong and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Enjoyed our brief stay. Very close to cafes, shops and restaurants as well as the beach. Wifi was excellent too as my husband relied on it to do some remote work. We found this apartment very comfortable. Thekla was a wonderful host and even made us a loaf of Artisan bread! Thank you!

great stay, great location. There was construction next door but they offered late check-out and the construction isn't in their control so everything was great

We had a wonderful long weekend break with our mini schnauzers at Cannisters. Patricia's holiday home was immaculately presented and in a great location metres to a dog friendly beach. We appreciated the welcome goodies and all the luxury extra touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Communication with Patricia was excellent and helpful. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to return again.

Had a great stay, the house was spotless and spacious for our party of 6 adults. Good kitchen and bbq to cook our nightly meals. Lovely beach view from veranda for lunch and afternoon drinks. Short walk down to beach and cafe. Thank you Dean for our very enjoyable stay.

We loved our stay! Perfect location for us as a family of teens and 2 puppy’s. Everything was walking distance. The beach is amazing. The house was comfortable and even though we didn’t get time to try it the bathtub and bathroom was glorious!! Would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay. Broad mixture of ages in our group, and everybody was happy. Furnishings are clean and modern but still in tune with the holiday feel. Outdoors area is large and level, great for kids to play. 5 minute walk to a wonderful bowling club that has a great atmosphere and wonderful bistro, live band in the Saturday night, locals are friendly and made us feel very welcome. Honeymoon Bay is a short drive and is a must see, just beautiful. Simon is a fantastic host, family focused, and very pleasant and easy to communicate with. Very happy to recommend staying here.

Paul’s place at Vincentia was magic. The home is warm and inviting, the backyard has beautiful little nooks with something different in every corner and plenty of space in the sun. The outdoor area is weather proof and has a great bbq with a pool table. It rained for a lot of our visit but Paul’s home ensured we enjoyed our time at Vincentia just as much. Thank you for having us Paul, I home to come down again :)

A beautiful, peaceful modern home, close to the beach. Three bedrooms all with ensuites which was perfect for our group of three couples. Perfect weather allowed us to fully appreciate the relaxing beachside suburb. Tastefully furnished and thoughtful touches. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Simply amazing place. Beautifully furnished and decorated, it felt like home straight away. The most comfortable beds ever with quailty bed linen and towels. Great accomodation with nice room and big balcony. Unfortunately the weather didn't hold up and we couldn't reschedule in time. likely a beautiful place during a warm day but not the greatest when it's wet and windy. Found the wind quite loud and strong through the night and unfortunately we couldn't explore more due to the weather. Didn't use the amenities due to the cold, the pool would've been nice. Would love to revisit one day on a clearer and better day.

Xiao and Tim were wonderful hosts, warm, friendly, and welcoming. Their home was spotless, and the room was immaculate, comfortable, and perfectly air-conditioned—just what we needed during the hot weather. The patio was a lovely spot to relax, and for fellow dog lovers, cuddles with their adorable pups, Lotus and Phoenix, were an added treat (at your discretion). The complex also offered fantastic amenities, including a beautiful outdoor heated pool and a well-equipped gym. The location is also excellent! Right on the harbour and a short walking distance to a variety of restaurants and stunning beaches. A fantastic stay—I highly recommend it!

We had a lovely stay at Kristen’s place. The bits of the property to which we had access were huge and well kept. We made good use of the grounds for an Easter egg hunt and the pool was well used by the kids over the warm long weekend. Wish it was heated though! I wasn’t as brave as the kids. The outside space is important because inside is small. I was worried about the upstairs neighbour, who we heard and saw a bit, because we had two noisy toddlers and a crying baby with us, but she seemed unphased. The kitchen is equipped with all the utensils we needed, as well as oil, salt and pepper, and stuff for tea and coffee. The property is easy to find and very clear instructions are provided so you know where to park and go, a quick drive to the shops and beach , and the distance means it’s nice and quiet. We had a lovely time, thanks for having us.

Ryan was a very friendly and responsive host, and his apartment is spacious, clean, and very conveniently located (you can even see the lighthouse just down the road). The gorgeous sunroom, spacious kitchen, enormous TV, and comfy mattress were all notable bright spots!

This apartment is in a fantastic location. We had people in our party who were able to go for a swim, others who enjoyed a stroll through the Cronulla shops. There are great restaurants close by and we all enjoyed the view from the dining window of the beach and the street life below.

Amanda’s place was absolutely perfect for our stay over Christmas. The kitchen was lovely and modern and a stunning view of Maroubra beach from the balcony. 100% would recommend you others, could t fault it!

The Loft is great place to stay. It is spacious and extremely neat and clean. There are very clear instructions on accessing the property which made it easy to check in. The property is well appointed with all the comforts of home. Our family of four had a great time staying there. Highly recommended and we’re planning to stay there again the next time we visit Wollongong. Kathryn is a fantastic host.and she was very responsive to any queries we had.
