Such a lovely stay. Walking distance to the beach and coffee shops. Brigitte and Keith are wonderful hosts. The house is spacious, clean with a lovely patio and garden. We would definitely be back. Highly recommend!

My family loved our time here. it's a great, quiet, clean home close to everything in Ballito.

We arrived during the Easter period , booked the house to share with our family I cannot begin to explain how perfect our time was ! The house itself comes with all the amenities , even hairdryers ! Kitchen is well equipped ,clean and organised great outside area with FABULOUS VIEW it’s also extremely convenient spot as you are walking distance to all the shops and beaches We THOROUGHLY enjoyed our time this is truly a gem of a place and highly recommend that if you happen to be in Umdloti this should definitely be your base for your beach holiday Warm regards Oscar and Mel and family

Me and my daughter loved every moment of our stay. Stunning apartment, breath taking beautiful views and we enjoyed our walk to and from the beach. The location was perfect for us. The hosts were proactive in providing necessary information. We’ll definitely be returning.

Great place in walking distance to beach... We only stayed a few nights, while our home in Durban got fumigated, but will recommend the place to friends and family who visit Durban ;-) I especially liked that it was spacious and dog friendly with a big balcony

First of all, big thank you to Sandy for the great hospitality and communication. This place is absolutely beautiful! The pictures aren’t even enough to describe how absolutely amazing the house is. From the ocean view, to how spacious the house is. Just beautiful. Furthermore, the variety of board games available, the cutlery, beach towels. There’s was an even a little water bowl for our lil dog. So considerate! We also got a warm welcome gift from Sandy, which was so unexpected and thoughtful. I will absolutely be booking this house again. Thank you Sandy

This was such an relaxing experience to stay here. To be right off the water and in such a clean accommodation was so relaxing and priceless for the cost. It was well worth it and the organization and responsiveness of the host and management was five out of five customer service.I would definitely stay here again. I love the layout and how they utilize every space in the unit. Not being from South Africa, I need a converter and ask for one from the host and I was able to get the very next day.

Lovely place, easy, and peaceful. So close to the beach and very easy to get to all required shops/restaurants etc. Took my dog for a week, we both loved it. Will definitely be back!

An absolutely stunning apartment with magical views. Hosts are amazing. Access to the beach was easy so we could visit the beach a few times a day. Definitely would stay again.

Velly was very friendly and accommodating. the housekeeper was literally a phone call away. the apartment is conveniently situated and has everything one needs for a quick getaway. the staircase is very steep though and will not be ideal for someone who has mobility challenges. we had a very comfortable stay and it was excellent value for money.

We loved our time staying at this beautiful house. It’s designed so beautifully so that you get that outdoor / indoor feel from every room, especially with all of the large windows open. It’s beautifully decorated but still very comfortable and homely. We loved the pool area with deck overlooking the sea. Bird life, monkeys and we spotted dolphins. Umdloti village has loads of great restaurants and shops if you want to go out or stock up the fridge but you probably won’t want to go anywhere once you arrive! We will definitely be back.

Janne's place really is a home away from home. The cottage is peaceful and surrounding by a wonderful garden that overlooks some of the best parts of Durban. We didn't want for anything, the kitchen was well stocked with essentials, the bed was large and comfy, the internet was fast, the aircon is very effective and the cottage was very easy to lock up and go. I highly recommend this spot when in Durban and will be back!

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful, private home in a forest setting. The location offered the perfect blend of tranquility and natural beauty, making it an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The accommodation was thoughtfully furnished with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable holiday—and then some! It was evident that every detail had been carefully considered, from the cozy furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen. Traveling with our furry friend was an absolute delight, as the property was not only pet-friendly but went above and beyond to cater to them, too. Waking up to the sound of birds and taking peaceful strolls was such a treat. Whether we were relaxing on the deck, exploring the nearby beach, or simply unwinding in this picturesque setting, every moment was pure bliss. We can’t recommend this place highly enough and are already looking forward to returning!

Marian is a very friendly and accommodating host. She has a beautiful property and the photos don’t do it enough justice, because it is larger than what it looks like in the photos. She was helpful & was kind enough to allow me to check in early before going out to get some supplies for my stay. The garden area outside the house is very beautiful & peaceful as well. I would definitely recommend choosing this place if you want a relaxing stay.

I must congratulate Britt on the attention to detail in her home. We loved our stay. Communication was easy and Britt was very accommodating You have a beautiful, clean place.

Shaun was a great Host! Our first day, the municipal power was out, Shaun immediately notified us and left our deep freeze full of ice so that we could keep everything cold that we needed to. The second the power came on he rushed over and set everything up for us. He politely directed us to get to the beach including great restaurant recommendations (that were really amazing). The living space was really amazing, cozy and felt like we were right at home. The kitchen had everything we could’ve possibly needed from food storage containers to fabric softener! The best part of it all his place is dog friendly and our little ankle biter loved it! The yard space we had was perfectly secure and had its own walkway gate. We were not kept on a “curfew” which was perfect. The main beach is literally a 10 min stroll from Shaun’s Place. We had horrible and gloomy weather but with the hospitality we received and lovely place we stayed at made it all worth it!

This was a much needed family get away. We loved our time at Sea Cottage as did our 4-legged children. Brad was very accommodating and helpful. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Philip is a superb host and the accommodation was very comfortable and quaint. Fast Wifi, private and quiet surroundings. My fur baby and I enjoyed our stay very much!
