A very pleasant stay, clean environment, a beautiful rooftop pool that is usually empty, and a great host. The place looks better in reality than in the photos.

We booked 'A place' for a group of 6. The place was exactly as seen in pictures. 'Dilan' - the host was always available for questions. He gave us a good tour and encouraged to use all the amenities. The home caretaker 'Anusha' was on the property 24*7 and available to assist in the group activities and daily chores. We were also introduced to a local guide 'Champika' who virtually got everything done for us. Since, we didn't speak Singalese, Dilan and Champika made sure all our needs were taken care of. Over all: - Great place and Stay - Friendly and helpful Host - Excellent care taker and his availability - Very reliable and trustworthy people - No hidden charges or trying to squeez extra It was a wonderful experience over all. I highly recommend this place for a Professional meeting, Family or friends get together. Nice and Quite with access to the beach right there!! And most importantly - 'Friendly, trustworthy and reliabile' people for a stay in a foreign country!!!

this place was so nice! away from the city, but still close enough if we wanted to get into town. all the locals are super helpful and friendly. we walked to several restaurants and there are plenty of tuk tuks to get you into the closet towns for groceries or more restaurants. we had wild Peacocks/peahens in the yard. we loved this place

Hi Sharmilla, We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Tranquillity. The garden and surroundings are stunning, with beautiful pools leading into a vast palm forest and nature reserve. The tranquility is incredible—just birdsong and the sounds of nature all around. Sunil, the caretaker, was amazing. He helped with everything, from getting fresh fruit at a local farm to arranging a tuk-tuk. Such a kind and attentive person! We felt truly pampered and completely relaxed. Dilan was lovely, place was lovely. What you see is what you get and for that reason I can’t fault it. Keep in mind it’s like an apartment/hotel complex, I was confused for a split second when arriving, and none of the locals recognised “tropical sunset” stay but super cute!!

We choose Dinesh’s place because it was close to the airport and initially just wanted a place to sleep. But to our surprise, the stay succeeded our expectations. Firstly Dinesh replied right away and helped us answer any questions. The villa was very clean, big rooms, cosy shared areas, big pool and a big garden surrounding the place. It is in the countryside, so quiet and relaxing surroundings. Dinesh and his crew were extremely helpful: helped with tuk tuk, drove us to the supermarket, recommended restaurant, they served us really good breakfast and dinner and even delivered things to help my husband get better with his cold. Highly recommend this place and thank you for having us☺️

The stay we had near the airport. It is convenient to reach by Uber or PickMe. Private upstairs in their house is good area and have all the essentials. Kitchen is shared with the host and they are very helpful in everything. It was a pleasant experience. We even had fresh coconuts right from the tree in front of the house.

We had a lovely time at Madura’s place, would 100% recommend to anyone who’s looking for a place to stay. Always a good tip for every city we went to visit ! Nothing bad to say !

The indoor pool was a dream—I loved starting my mornings with a swim and unwinding in the evenings, just floating under the soft lighting. But what truly made my stay unforgettable was Sira, the villa’s housekeeper. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, always with a warm smile and a genuine willingness to help. His kindness and dedication made all the difference. He is, without a doubt, the hidden gem of this villa!
