The hostess was friendly and helpful. The place feels like home- largely someone else’s home and was not sterile or middle of the road. Lots of of stuff and kitchen utensils- have never seen such variety of plates, bowls, knives, cutlery, etc. also variety of spices was amazing. The sauna is simple and if you are not ready to jump to see you need to carry a lot of water. We enjoyed the beauty and simplicity.

A modern cottage next to the sea that is well worth price vs value. Quite spacious indoors and with a private terrace. It has an easy access to the sea (a path down the hill) and a small outdoor sauna. Upon our arrival everything was set and ready. The biggest highlight was the tall windows with rocking chairs. Good to know when booking: - the bedroom upstairs is in the "loft" - therefore no sound privacy (next to the bed is also the "living room" with couch and TV. There are also no curtains nor blinds upstairs (which was not an issue for us, but for light sleepers I would recommend the downstairs bedroom). - the stairs to upstairs "living room" and bedroom are a bit uneven (I can see that people with mobility issues would not be to safely walk up and down) - the kitchen and pantry is very well stocked with the basics

No words for how wonderful this place was, but I’ll try. The cabin has its own sweet little beach and is extremely private without being cut off from people should you require it. It is a peaceful, quiet, serene paradise. The main cabin has everything you need for sleeping, cooking and hanging out. Wood fire is great. Lots of staple food stuff in the pantry. Comfy bed and couch. Sauna/chill out cabin nicely done. Roomy sauna. Hot water. Comfy chairs. Outhouse toilet very easy to use, and so quaintly decorated. It’s adorable. Malin was a fabulous host. She even took us hunting for mushrooms so we would know what to eat and where to find good ones. Excellent hints also about how to view the northern lights. The setting is idyllic. We spent 4 days relaxing here and thought it was heaven. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Definitely highly recommended and thanks so much Malin for your thoughtful touches and for being such a great host.
