Our trip to Iceland was the best time we have had in a while. It was absolutely amazing and such a beautiful place & experience. Magnus and Bjork were wonderful hosts who could not have been more attentive and helpful with the area and whole nation. It was a stay of a lifetime and an absolute privilege to be able to stay in their beautiful home. We were extremely lucky to able to see the Aurora from the doorstep! Once again, amazing hosts and an amazing experience. We cannot wait to go again 🇮🇸💙

Me and my husband had a great time. We found the location very accessible from Reykjavik. It is definitely a quiet location near a lake, you won’t hear any noise from the city but at the same time it has everything you might need nearby (groceries just about 4min drive away). Check-in was one of our worries with our trip since our flight arrived at 2am, and we only managed to get here after 3am, but fortunately Trygve provided self check-in so there was no problem at all! Also on our second night we asked Trygve to use the sauna and he kindly lit it up for us. It’s absolutely amazing, so cozy and hot, while outside was freezing so it was a nice contrast.

Everything was as described. Quiet, very peaceful neighborhood. Easy access, also to the center of Reykjawik. 2 bedrooms, comfortable beds, dining area in the room, and a broken sofa with an extra mattress, which provided comfortable sleeping. Comfortable conditions for 7 people. A kitchen equipped with all the appliances at home, including toasters and even a food processor. This is a big plus because you could prepare meals quickly. The bathroom is clean, with towels. The hosts did not in any way interfere with the stay, full discretion, parking, and even 2 vehicles can be parked there. Thank you for your stay, I recommend to anyone who wants to visit Iceland.
