Holiday rentals with beach access in Koggala Beach

We had a great time at Thenu Villa! Everything was super clean and the hosts were responsive. Highly recommend coming here for a stay nearby Hikkaduwa and major attractions.

Nalaka is definetely a superhost. Always friendly and ready to help with whatever you need. Taxi transfer, tuk-tuk ride, bike rental, sightseeing, food and laundry, power adapters, you name it. His family is also very charming, positive and helpful. The place is always clean, with nice minimalistic furniture. The location is about 7-10 minute bike ride to the sea shore and it might be a good thing as it's quiet and chill. It was a great starting point for my trip and I don't regret staying here for 9 days.

We had an excellent stay at this apartment and appreciated all the thoughtful details. Communication with Dakshan was smooth and supportive from start to finish - he was very helpful, always quick to respond, and offered great assistance whenever we had questions or needed guidance. The apartment itself was in top-notch condition, featuring powerful air conditioning, fast internet, and a fully equipped kitchen that made cooking easy. The spacious layout and separate showers in each room gave everyone plenty of privacy and comfort. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the modern yet cosy feel instantly made us feel at home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d gladly stay here again.

Gianluca is an excellent host, he was always responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had what we needed to feel at home. The apartment is in a bustling, central location with plenty of restaurants, beach access spots and boutique stores and surfboard rentals in the area. We had everything we needed at the apartment, Gianluca was very communicative about any extras, suggestions for surf spots and local activities over the festive season. We were well taken care of, his property manager and house keeper were also so lovely, and we loved our stay between Gianluca’s properties in Ahangama. Things could get a bit loud on the main road but we were visiting over Christmas and New Years, so this is to be expected anywhere central. We would highly recommend the studio, and would definitely book again the next time we’re in the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Gianluca and co!

We stayed at Sujeewes place for 5 weeks. It is a great space and has great wifi, especially if you are working. There is lots of space if you like to cook and spend time in the apartment. The balcony is also lovely as you can sit outside and watch the birds. You can hear the prayers in the morning and it's really nice to sit and watch the birds, squirrels, mongoose etc. Sujeewa was very helpful and assisted us with everything needed help with including getting a tuktuk to the next place. He also helped by giving us another fan so we could use the AC less in the main bedroom. The family were really lovely. The rooms are a great size and we felt as though we had a lot of space as a couple. And a great big dining table! There is just a couple of small things I would mention if you were looking to stay here that differ from the photos - there is no oven/microwave as pictured and the balcony also does not have the desk chairs. Other than that, everything was as noted on the listing.

We really loved our stay in the apartment. It's very nicely designed and has everything that's needed. Also, we really enjoyed cooking in the outside kitchen. The place has a nice working area if you ever need to be productive. Eva was a great host. She was there for us all the time and helped us a lot with everything. The beach is very close and several shops aren't far away.

A lovely apartment with good facilities in beautiful surroundings. Nuwan was very responsive and helpfully sorted out scooter hire for our stay and a taxi to Colombo. We relaxed and watched the monkeys and birds from the peaceful balcony, it's a lovely little oasis!

At first, the host of this house is one of the greatest in my traveling history. He was very knowledgeable and supportive. I could spend an amazing time in Hikkaduwa thanks to his hospitality. Thank you!

We had a great stay at Bandula’s villa! Bandula was so helpful and friendly. The place was clean and perfectly located. We would 100% stay here again if we came back to Sri Lanka

Home away from home- the place is peaceful, in the midst of lush greenery, clean & looks just like the pictures. The host is very responsive & the direction to find the property are easy. Public transport is easy to get.

Amani's place is the perfect spot when visiting Weligama. They have a beautifully renovated home, with a room upstairs, and another downstairs (each with their own bathrooms). It's in a great location, just 10 minutes from the beach. Check-in was simple, the place was clean, and we really enjoyed our time there. Additionally, the AC worked great! Lastly, the Hosts mother also made us an incredible dinner (for a reasonable price) and it was one of the best meals we had. We would recommend this beautiful place to friends and family, and hope to return sometime in the future. A couple additional notes: The hosts home is connected to the airbnb. Additionally, the home is next to a school, which can be a little noisy in the mornings. This was completely fine for us, since we're early risers, but you may want to bring ear plugs if you like to sleep in.

This villa was perfect! Very spacious and both rooms had plenty of privacy. Short walk to the beach and several great restaurants. We extended our stay by a week because the house was so comfortable. Nilu was also very quick with communication whenever we needed anything. Thanks again!

Ii would like to appreciate mr.kosala and the whole family for making me feel like home, i liked everything, the kitchen had everything equipment needed for cooking, washing machine, AC, TV, fan, heater for hot water, mr kosala and his father was very polite and friendly, answered fast when i needed something, overall i would definitely comeback when im visiting hikkaduwa again! Beautiful villa , jungle vibe setting near the sea. The villa and pool/garden are stunning , its a great location with easy access to beaches and great food spots. Sudda the caretaker is super hellful and responsive. Would definitely go back, we had an unforgettable family holiday

We are a travelling family and the villa was just perfect for us. We also work online so we needed a quick internet - and it worked very well. Sanjaya and his family are warm beautiful people and they always helped us with anything we asked for. We also enjoyed the garden that is full of birds. Very recommended accomodation! The accommodation is beautiful and right on the sea. If you don't want to eat in the restaurant in the building complex, you always need a taxi to the nearest restaurant. Special requests were always taken into account and fulfilled. Furthermore, we were helped a lot in organizing the transfer to the airport.

Very spacious place and very clean. Padma and her family are nice, very flexible with check-in and check-out and went out their way to meet our needs. Great place and very well equipped kitchen. It’s next to the main road which is very loud but you can’t hear it too much from the bedroom. The secret beach is only 30 seconds walk away!!!

The old chilli house really did feel like a home from home. In a great location Kris and his family were very warm and welcoming. Kris is a natural host and had contacts for anything we wanted to do. From Tuk Tuk and Scooter rides when needed to his amazing knowledge of the area. We were so lucky to experience this little slice of paradise. The old chilli house has beautiful rooms, with attention to small, homey details. Do not hesitate to book, it’s a popular airbnb for a reason!
